Alfredo's On Folly - Menu

Tried this place out for the first time last year during a family beach trip and HAD to come back. Food was delicious and fresh. Chef was extremely friendly and recommended some other great local restaurants.

A hidden treasure on Folly Beach! Delicious, fresh pastas and salads, without the fuss of upscale Charleston fare. Try the Pappardelle with Alfredo and shrimp, you will not regret it. Service was fantastic, and it was quiet and quaint just like a real Italian Trattoria in Florence. Will definitely be repeat customers. Keep up the great work!

We ordered take out here after a day at the beach. The service was super nice and courteous. It’s a cute little, beachy Italian restaurant. The pasta.. is so so so delicious! it was cooked perfectly, the taste was dancing on my plate the sauce is creamy and was the perfect amount. They also took Apple play! This place is amazing! We've been to Folly multiple times and have yet to enjoy proper Italian food, until now. Mike (the owner and chef) makes everything fresh in house from his mozzarella, the pasta and sauces and pizza dough. We ended up coming twice in one week it was so good! This was the best dinner that my wife and I had while on Folly Beach. The staff is amicable, knowledgeable, and passionate about the foods that they prepare and serve. If I would have known about this place earlier, I would have made sure to come back before our last night! The chicken parmasean panini and fusilo noodles with tomato basil were delicious. Do yourself a favor and make sure to visit this hidden gem!

I have to admit that even though I had read the reviews and was expecting it to be good, before I tried Alfredo's on Folly I was fairly convinced that it would be less good than the ratings seemed to imply. However my wife wanted to try it so we went. To be fair, it's a small shop with only three tables inside and a few outside. There is nothing fancy about the place... until you try the food. Delicious Italian food in a no frills atmosphere. I mean, REALLY delicious, and really no frills. Friendly and helpful staff. About six different sauces, and six different handmade, in house pastas, served in compostable boats. Six different paninis (sandwiches) and a couple of salads. Beer, and Wine is sold by the plastic cup or carafe. Order at the counter; someone brings it to your table. Prices reflect the no frills.
