"The food, drinks, dessert were DELICIOUS and the service was AMAZING!! You definitely have to try the Frozen Rosé and I believe the other was Frozen Chardonnay BUT mix them together!! And the Rainbow cake... decadent! Julie was our server, she was wonderful! All of the staff were really nice and accommodating! I have to give a shout out to Darren (I hope I spelled his name correctly), the best gate security in town!!"

"Not sure what happened here. Used to be one of our go to places in Northport. Went yesterday, Sunday early evening. What a disappointment warm beer Daughter had a house salad (14.00). Took 25 minutes, wilted greens, barely anything on the plate and drowned in salad dressing ordered a salmon and a burger (MR), Burger came out first after 40 minutes, I split it so my wife could eat and 8 minutes later after everyone was done salmon came out we refused it Burger (20.00) came out no lettuce, no tomato, no onion and no pickles, just a burger sitting at the bar, no one paying attention to how long it took always frustrated that the amount of times we have eaten there, never recognized when we come back, not the same experience at other placesCrossing this one off the list."

"TL;DR Get the coffee! This evening, I was a solo diner. It was a Saturday night, and I was warmly welcomed and attended to. I was concerned that I would feel like I was on stage dining by myself. I was, surprisingly, comfortable. Tonight, I had with the beet and goat cheese salad to start. I thought the beets were on the salty side, but otherwise, the dish was well balanced. I think it should be served with bread. For my entree, I enjoyed short rib fettuccine with mushroom cream sauce and butter tomatoes. It was absolutely decadent creamy and mushroomy. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the short ribs were melt in your mouth tender. I'm not really sure how I feel about the tomatoes. I understand the need for some acidity to cut the creaminess, I ji a t mightve gone a different way. For desert, my favorite part of the meal, I had the cheesecake and a cup (a whole pot) of French press coffee. The cheesecake was bruleed and served with real deal marrichino cherries, the dark ones, not the bright red ones. The coffee, though, was the highlight of the meal. I now know I need to purchase a French press of my very own. The atmosphere was cozy, dimly lit. Perfect for date night. I won't lie. I needed to use the flashlight on my phone to read the menu. I think that means I'm officially old. The service was so warm and attentive. I will definitely return in the future. "We order from Batata often and love their menu (especially the turkey gouda and vegan spicy Caesar! , and so we ordered catering from them for our daughter's first birthday party this past weekend and could not have been happier! The bbq package was delicious, as were all of the sides. We also got a large sub, several side salads, and a latter of veggie/vegan sandwich and wrap options. Our guests raved about the food and the bbq was so incredibly tender and flavorful. Great place for every day, and also highly recommend for your next event!"
