"Hey guys I honestly love you that’s why I won’t give you one star. Yesterday I was treated poorly by one of the employees that’s why I am writing this review. Couple of days ago I bought some buckwheat from your store and was very disappointed with the quality of it. Which is no big deal I came showed pictures of why I didn’t like it politely explained why I am returning it and asked for my money back since I couldn’t consume and didn’t want to consume food I bought. I fully intended to keep shopping at the store after refund and have no hard feelings about it since I love the products you carry just that particular one I didn’t like, it was the first food I didn’t like there throughout 3 years of shopping at the store.Anyway that’s exactly what I said to the lady who was supposed to help me. The way she handled situation was very disrespectful and unprofessional. Amongst lots of useless words she said that my buckwheat looks like complete mush because it’s supposed to look like it, because it’s organic and not Ukrainian this is why it’s looks like that. She also said that I gonna NEED to get used to this buckwheat because I won’t have another option since Ukraine struggling with buckwheat supply, which I know but really? This is not how you speak to the customer who is complete stranger, I don’t NEED to do anything. Then she asked for receipt which I didn’t have but I had Venmo payment and she could easily look up my receipt since I had date and time. Then she said that it is not a T shirt and that I am returning food which I was absolutely aware of. Again unnecessary disrespect. After talking non stop and teaching me how to cook the only choice I have which I didn’t really ask her for she refunded me for an unopened pack of buckwheat. I didn’t say a word the whole time. After she refunded me money for one pack she decided to walk away without saying a word like i did something wrong. Maybe I am reacting a little harsh, I am 5 months pregnant and have no tolerance for this kind of behavior. I want this manager to know that first of all when customer comes to the store she has to be respectful no matter what, and second it is better to return 5-10$ to a customer that spends thousands at the store. Because the same day I would spend all that refund and much more at the store while having great experience, be satisfied and would keep coming back over and over. Unfortunately now I gonna have to find an alternative since I don’t want to be disrespected again."

SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES! What a great store. We got our fresh Thanksgiving turkey from here in November and it was a hit. Other things we love from here are fresh apples, squash, thick-cut peppercorn bacon, butter, and fresh tomatoes. They have a little bit of everything. A special place. View menu

I am delighted to have discovered this hidden gem! Even though I live 25 minutes away, I make the trip once a week because they offer a high-quality selection of products. The freshly baked bread on Tuesdays and Thursdays is outstanding, as are the soft and sweet dried apricots. The produce is of top-notch quality, and their Baltic sprats for $4 are a tasty snack when paired with crackers and mustard. The staff is friendly and the ambiance of the restaurant is charming.

I am thrilled to have discovered this restaurant. It is a hidden gem for all your high-quality food needs. They offer a wide selection of organic, pasture-raised, grass-fed meats and dairy products for purchase. In addition, they have a variety of delicious pre-made dishes, including grass-fed beef chili and Amish-made goods and breads. I was delighted by the abundance of local, quality items available for purchase beyond just the animal products from local farms. They also have unique items like soursop tea, sea moss, and herbs for sale. The staff is friendly and helpful. For anyone looking for specific items, I recommend calling ahead to ensure availability. This is a small business that I...

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
