"I got what I think was supposed to be a hamburger. It was a very loose interpretation of a food most people have had before, so going avant-garde with this burger was a huge risk. But let me say--risk rewarded! Sure, anyone can make a hamburger you can put in your mouth and eat. But the folks at Anderson BBQ took a real chance and made a true piece of art. A cold, joyless patty stuffed between two treacherous pieces of day-old bread. I mean, c'mon! That's the human condition on a plate. Life, Death, Rebirth--this hamburger had it all"

It was my first time going there. I only haf to wait 12 min the women who took my order was polite and patient and the food was good. I had more than enough for the price I paid and my children and husband enjoyed their meals as well. I will go back View menu

"A great surprise! I thought the food was on par with some of the top-end vegan restaurants in NYC. It was imaginative, well-prepared, and delicious. Not what I expected from bar food! We had the sunflower risotto, tofu schnitzel, Korean noodle soup, and beet carpaccio. All were fantastic, though the risotto was definitely the most unique. The small plate portions were way bigger than we expected. Thankfully we came hungry. Definitely make a reservation. We didn 't have one, but we got lucky and got a spot on the couch. Oh, yeah. The drinks are also really fun and unique."

"I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant when I attended a bridal shower. The venue, food, and staff were all amazing. We had the opportunity to sample various specialty pizzas and two delicious salads. The pizza crusts were exceptional - thin, crispy, and flavorful, making them the perfect base for the unique toppings. I appreciated that the ingredients worked well together and could be enjoyed individually as well. I recommend ordering a couple of small pizzas so you can try a variety of flavors. Although I didn't check out the wine list, the Aperol Spritz was excellent. I look forward to returning to enjoy the outdoor patio."

"First post-COVID visit to the dining room. Parallax's provisions seem sensible no paper menus, all staff masked, tables distanced, ample sanitizer. Felt very comfortable. Only downside to the experience was that we were seated next to the kitchen more bustle and noise than ideal Staffing and attention we received were lavish (perhaps a plus of distancing), food delicious, novel and with beautiful presentation. Thai sausage extremely tasty and unique. Parallax reminded me of everything I had been missing under the shutdown thanks"

"The restaurant is beautiful with lovely decorations. We went for our anniversary on a Thursday as we heard there is live music. Unfortunately the layout of the restaurant is strange and we were seated by the bar across from a tv and people watching sports. Felt more like a sports bar than a romantic Italian restaurant. The performer was moving between two places but we could not see him in either place as he was behind us. The food was poor unfortunately and portions are very small. The focaccia bread and olive oil was very good but our meatball appetizer had no flavor and the tomato sauce felt like was just opened from a can. The ahi tuna dish had no flavor and were two small pieces. The soup was tiny and the desserts while good were bite size. The restaurant seems to have a lot of tourists who are in tennis shoes and shorts, not at all what one would expect from such restaurant’s atmosphere and prices. Service is very good the hostess and waitress were lovely. The manager stopped by to make sure we were enjoying our time. My suggestion would be to sit people based on the intent of their visit, give a small area or stage for the entertainment that visitors can see and improve food quality and sizes."

"Food was wonderful, waiter (Ken) exceptional. Love the window views here. I would give highest rating if the hostess at the front hadn't been so dismissive. We had reservations, arrived first, were told “ we dont seat until your entire party has arrived.” Umm... this is an upscale establishment, not Cheesecake Factory! She ended up seating us anyway but it left a bad vibe. Not the way to begin your customer's experience."
