"The food was decent, although a bit overpriced for what it was. We started with the combination appetizer, which came with fried zucchini, fried mushrooms, mozzarella sticks, and onion rings. All of which were quite tasty and paired very well with their basil-heavy marinara. I ordered the shrimp scampi as my main, which tasted fine, but seemed to have a certain microwaved quality from restaurant-grade pre-packaged meals. This aside, the shrimps were tender, and the restaurant gets points for its consideration to remove the tails before putting them in the saucy pasta (thank you for that). The wine, however, is egregiously overpriced. A typical $6.99 bottle of Beringer is priced at $7.99 for a glass, or $30 for the bottle. For the quality of the wine combined with it's availability at Walmart for a fraction of the cost, this is a drastic overpricing."

Our family enjoyed the delicious lasagna, side salad with yummy Ranch dressing, antipasto salad, and pizza. Wonderful service, too!

Alex took excellent care of us. They also heard it was our first time and brought us this. Highly recommend for a nice Italian lunch or dinner!

The food was delicious. Everything tasted fresh and our waiter was wonderful! I ordered the shrimp ravioli and it could have used more shrimp. Overall it was a great experience, I can't wait to try more! View menu

I have been going to Anzio since 1990 and I must say that the restaurant decoration and size have changed, but the food and the staff are still amazing! We can't get enough of their garlic bread and we have never been disappointed with anything! We recommend this restaurant to everyone we know.

We visited Anzios during our family trip to the city. The food was exceptional. We tried a few pizzas and the meatball dish, and they were all amazing. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Kevin, who was incredibly friendly. The staff took great care of us, and the highlight was the special Anzio dessert platter. What a treat! We highly recommend Anzios.

this place really woke me. how, when they approached outwards, it looks like a lot, but a go is a total change. the service was 100% fantastic, our server withzy was amazing. eating was dying, I was looking for a big Italian restaurant and I think I found my place now. and if they are a new customer and order them dessert, they will receive a small welcome message to come here and give it a try. I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and was lucky to find an open table. I highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time. We were seated by the pool, away from other guests, and all employees were wearing masks. The cocktails were fantastic, and our server Trey made sure to keep us informed about last call. Trey's hospitality was exceptional, and his friendly demeanor made our Sunday even more enjoyable. It was clear that there was something special about him, and his southern charm added to the overall wonderful experience.

Visited here as a traveler without prior knowledge. The restaurant in the less-than-desirable side of Phx in a bad neighborhood. Clientele were all low middle class to upper low class. This is not the restaurant to choose if you are looking for a nice outing. Combo appetizer was quite good. Chicken Parmigiano was overcooked to the point of toughness and the breading was mush. The side salads are what you would expect from a hospital cafeteria: stale iceberg. Their wine menu is laughable. It is all bottomshelf wine at prices for midrange wine: bottle of Beringer for $30... that is a wine commonly found at Walmart and convenient stores for $6 a bottle. That's just shameful.

"i’ve been coming to lacuna for over two years now and this little gem is definitely one of my favorite places to be. i’m not much of a review-writer, but when i feel passionately about places (good or bad , i get inspired.as someone who leads an alcohol-free lifestyle, it is SO nice having this option to unwind and create some art, relax, or hang out with friends. i’ve truly made so many wonderful connections through lacuna that i will cherish for a lifetime!it’s also a great place to get work done. i work remote, so i spend a good majority of my week here at my second office ; the BOGO happy hour deal comes in clutch.i think it’s really great that there is a mix of events now too, not just strictly DJ’s performing 6-7 nights a week. (although i do absolutely love the nights when there’s a DJ as well ! the variety of events is great; chess tournaments, community coloring, workshops, recovery groups, massages, yoga etc. there’s been a lot of engaging activities that i enjoy attending or participating in.i feel like lacuna has become a lot stronger in both the workspace and community-front in the last year or so too. the kavatenders all have such a warm and positive energy and always make me feel special when i come in. it’s nice seeing management interacting with customers and staff more too. it’s nice overhearing the positive feedback from management to staff (or staff to staff , and hearing the conversations that the staff members have with guests. there just seems to be a lot more connection overall. lacuna is growing and glowing for sure. <3the price increase is a bit of a bummer, but in a time with inflation… what can you really do? i personally TRUST lacuna with their product and that’s what keeps me coming back. i know they put both quality and care into their products and it really reflects. it can be a pretty penny if you’re getting multiple drinks, but fancy craft cocktails at a regular bar can be the same way. plus, my points add up so quickly i get pretty frequent discounts with their reward system. it’s not the end of the world!i appreciate the subtle changes in the bar layout and decor too. even the little things keep it feeling fresh and a little new each time you come in.the *only* “negative” thing i have to say about the space is that it can be difficult to order a drink or close out a tab sometimes. there’s rushes and it gets busy, but sometimes it feels as if one staff member just isn’t enough during these times. sometimes there’s not a lot of communication about this either between staff and people trying to close out, but i’ve been coming here for awhile now so i know what to expect. if you’re in a time crunch, just give yourself a little buffer or cushion of time to get closed out (or order to go right off the bat and close out immediately .all things considered, though, 5 stars all the way around! lacuna is an ever-evolving, ever-growing spot and i’m excited to see what the future looks like for you guys! : bulaaaa!!!!"
