Avalon Grille - Menu

Mary at the bar and Eli gave us an amazing experience, and I can't wait to come back to the Avalon Grille. I absolutely enjoyed Mary's espresso martinis and her overall great hospitality!

Jimmy was a wonderful server and made my dads Birthday dinner special. He is attentive, thoughtful, and kind. I’d say he was the biggest highlight but the food was pretty good too. I also loved my Dragonfruit Mojito. Thanks!

Seriously, some of the best food I’ve eaten! I ate here one night and I got the Mac cheese. It was so good that I came back the next night. I ate the spicy Poke. Everything was so good. Service was amazing. Every employee was super kind! 10/10 recommend. View menu

Jimmy provided exceptional service and the food was absolutely delicious at this restaurant! It was the best meal we had in Avalon. The vegetarian option of cauliflower steak was awesome. Despite our daughter having many food allergies, Jimmy helped coordinate with the kitchen to create a meal and dessert that she rarely gets to order and she absolutely loved it.

Good martinis, actually made them very dirty, per request. Good service, personable. Started with the tuna appetizer and it was a great starter. We tried the pappardelle, was good but not the best I’ve had. Also tried the cauliflower steak, was basically clumps of cauliflower on top of a grain but with a lot of flavor. Great location and view of the main boardwalk.

My family of four spent a week on the Island. We had the absolute best service at Avalon Grill. Stephane, the manager went above and beyond! (Our daughter, has celiac disease and traveling, eating out is stressful to say the least! No issues at ALL! Food was a bit under seasoned but absolutely our favorite restaurant on the island! I ordered grilled octopus to go. No one warned us it would be a long wait. I waited over 30 minutes and got one tentacle. We got an apology from the manager but the only thing offered to us to remedy the issue was to come back at a later time so they could make it right, or I could wait more time for something else on the menu. I asked for a refund and continued to wait for that to be processed. I missed my ferry and am really upset for this entire experience e.

We didn’t have enough time to eat everywhere but out of all the restaurants that we did visit, I would say Avalon Grille was my favorite! It was #1. I had the catch of the day which was a lovely swordfish, the cut was even like an actual fish (see photo nice touch), with small, roasted potatoes and a lovely medley of vegetables. We also ordered the lobster Mac and cheese, and the filet mignon steak with mash potatoes and fresh asparagus. Complimentary popcorn in a bucket as an appetizer. Exquisitely plated dishes and very filling.

Here for a business dinner. Enthusiastic greeting as we walked up to check in for our reservation by Stephane and Stephanie. We shared crustini (tomato, cheese, crispy procuitto), and munched on the seasoned popcorn on the table. I had the octopus and little gem salad (pictured). Others in our party had the scallops, their black Angus filet (colleague said it was the best he had eaten), Korean shrimp stir fry. One of our party was a vegetarian and they were very accommodating, she had a mix of the summer succotash and wild mushrooms. Everyone raved about their meals. View menu
