"My boyfriend and I have been visiting this restaurant regularly for about a year now as one of our go-to date spots. It's never too crowded, and the food comes out quickly. The quality of the food is fantastic for the price, and I highly recommend trying the mango margarita with the tajin rim! We always order a pound of crab legs and the shrimp cocktail, and then we switch it up with something else from their menu. Gabriel and Tisa have consistently provided us with excellent service, and they definitely deserve some recognition! If you enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and delicious seafood, make sure to check this place out for lunch."

I paid $17 for the most tasteless salmon and bland vegetables I've ever had. Honestly, for that price, you'd be better off spending your money at Razzoo's. I can almost guarantee you'll have a better experience there.

The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The music was great, and most importantly, the atmosphere was relaxed and everyone felt comfortable. I will definitely return with my mom, who has Alzheimer's; she really enjoyed it!

Gumbo and lobster chowder were good. Oysters (raw) had a fishy taste so we didn't finish them. The service was great- so maybe stay away from the oysters. Both my husband and my son said the mens room was beyond filthy so they need to pay attention to it. View menu

I ordered the Catfish Fillets, and they were the worst fish I've ever tasted – completely bland and lacking any seasoning. The fries were overcooked as well. I was craving fish, but my fiancé encouraged me to try this place. Honestly, I could have made a better meal at home. The iced tea was weak, and even the Dr Pepper tasted diluted. I definitely won't be returning. Trust me on this!

The whole fried catfish was disappointing, lacking meat and covered in greasy breading. It didn’t taste good at all. Surprisingly, the four shrimp had more actual meat than the entire catfish. On the plus side, the fries, hushpuppies, and fried shrimp were enjoyable. However, I recommend avoiding the catfish altogether—it's just not worth it and might be the worst catfish I’ve ever had.

This is our favorite place to visit when we're unsure about what to eat. We've been coming here since 2019, and the quality of their food and service has always been reliable. I highly recommend the po'boys, oysters, coconut shrimp, and my personal favorite, the grilled chicken sandwich. My kids enjoy their chicken tenders and fries too. I'm able to treat myself to an awesome seafood meal Catfish Filets, Veggies and Key Lime Pie! I can always count on my peeps at Aw Shucks. All I have to do is call in my order or if I come in and order there's a very short 30 minute or so wait time. My food is always fresh and hot and served with a smile! It's never overly seasoned. The staff is always consistent and it's always clean in the restaurant. They've even brought my food to my car before.

I've come here plenty of times before. I actually enjoy. It's pretty good sea food. The prices are pretty high though I got a 3 piece cat fish basket, 2 of them actually and it ended up coming to about 45$, plus they charged me for some extra tarter sauce. I've never had to pay for extra so I was a bit dissatisfied since it was already going to be expensive. Either way, the lady on phone was a bit rude. Seemed to be having a bad day or whatever it was. Still, I'd recommend this place for good quality sea food.
