"My husband and I enjoyed a delicious and authentic middle eastern meal this past weekend. The food was fresh and flavorful. The owner did the cooking and we even learned a few words of Arabic with his help! Shkran! The location is tricky to find as the restaurant is tucked away in the corner of a strip mall on Cumberland Avenue. We live in the northern suburbs, but were in the Norridge area on business. We might even travel to Bab al Salam for no reason at all! There is plenty of casual seating and many people stopped in for take out. Enjoy!"

I drive 32 min to eat in this restaurant, I taked a mixed grill plate. The plate was great! The cooked perfect, the rice excellent, Hummus the best one, the salad was incredible !!! It's as if they are stealing from us. They have increased their prices as has been the inflation but at same time, the portion of food has been cut almost 50%. I think it's not fair. Either increase the price or reduce the food amount. In this case, they are taking from both ends. I will not give them business anymore.
