"I've from New York and these are the only bagels I will buy when I'm not home. They're an entirely different animal than the ny bagel a unique and wonderful artisan beast that is worth your time and money. Yes it's pricey but it doesn't break the bank. You'd pay more for a sandwich at a cafe than their egg sandwich which kicks a cafe sandwich's ass any day of the week. Seriously go get their egg sandwich now. The staff is pleasant and hardworking. And they're led by Mary, the passionate and talented owner of Bagelsaurus. Read their half a dozen write ups to get a sense of their story. This is the kind of small business that I love giving my money to. (Also Mustard butter is a godsend and has changed my life thank you, Mary."

Pricy but worth it. Great flavor, great bite, great chew. Be warned: they often sell out before closing.

Visited 7/10/18. Literally one of, if not THE, best breakfast sandwiches in my life!! The black olive bagel is amazing!

I could eat at this restaurant every day. The bagels are consistently excellent, and the staff is friendly. I particularly enjoy the housemade almond butter, which I always have on a sea salt bagel. View menu

It was awesome! The line was long, but moved quicker than I expected it too. Well worth the wait though. I tried the cheddar garlic bagel toasted with butter on it and I can't wait to go back and get a breakfast sandwich on the same bagel.

I always recommend to Boston locals and visiting friends that Boston has a superior bagel shop compared to the well-known ones in NYC and Montreal. Sorry to my friends from New York, but Bagelsaurus has the best bagels made with love. You really must try it for yourself.

Went here for the first time over the winter. Brought a friend who was visiting from out of state. The atmosphere was great, the employees were friendly, and we both agreed that the bagel sandwiches we got were spectacular. I recommend the hot smoked sandwich on a bialys. View menu

These are easily the best bagels in Boston and rival the best from New York (and thus the world). Mary insists on hand making these sourdough slow rise bagels over a 24 hour period that shows in taste and chew. It also shows in yield, so get here early to get your pick of bagels because they do run out. If you give them a couple days notice you can pick up a platter of bagels, lox and spread for office or functions. do it you'll be a hero.

My daughter and I ordered a Classic Jumbo (egg, cheddar, and mustard spread) with bacon and avocado, one on an Onion bagel and the other on an Everything bagel. My husband ordered the T Rex on a Plain bagel (house-made almond butter, banana, and bacon). The bagels were amazing - the best we've ever had! The bacon was thick-cut and cooked perfectly, and the almond butter was so delicious that we bought a container to take home. We had such a tough time deciding on a bagel that we ended up getting a half dozen to go as well. The staff was friendly and efficient, and kept the line moving quickly.

"Great casual fine dining experience in a quiet Cambridge neighborhood.Took a visit here for dinner on a Saturday night. Its casual and rustic interior blended in perfectly with the atmosphere of the neighborhood, and our servers were very welcoming. We were initially planning to do the tasting menu, but the regular a la carte menu seemed too good to miss. We ended up ordering a bunch from their regular menu which turned out to be the right decision. The optional focaccia and rye bread with sweet scallion butter was an excellent start to the meal. From the appetizers, we had the kohlrabi cabbage, country terrine, and the scallop crudo. Topped with a mélange of earthy and floral ingredients, the scallop crudo was my favorite from the appetizers. Each bite was creamy and flavorful yet inexplicably light. Sprinkled with cranberries and spiced seeds, the kohlrabi and cabbage salad was also delightful. I especially loved the spiced seed toppings which added the right amount of nuttiness and crunchy texture.Saffron bigoli with leeks and clam sofrito had a slightly boring flavor profile, but the pappardelle verde with lamb sugo was phenomenal. I’m usually not a fan of mint toppings, but it managed to become a perfect complement to the lamb sugo. Subsequent 3 entrées were also amazing. Japanese-inspired soy marinated cod was perfectly tenderized, and its delicate texture paired well with the carrots and leeks soaked in dashi. Forking a concoction of chimichurri sauce, garlic purée, and grilled spring onion with tender pieces of beef teres major was also very satisfying. We finished off the meal with the carrot cake sundae and the lemon poppyseed cake. The dessert section lacked refined taste, but we still appreciated their effort to put something unique and interesting. Overall, a really enjoyable dinner experience at a reasonable price. Would definitely come back some day to try their tasting menu.Parking: Street parking available on Huron Ave Concord Ave"

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
