"I wasn't sure about Bambu at first, but I've really come to enjoy it. The restaurant has plenty of space indoors and a lot of tables available for groups, which is great. The menu is quite unique for the University District as well. You can find your usual milk tea and boba drinks, but they also offer Vietnamese iced coffee (the kind made with condensed milk) and a wide variety of fruit smoothies. I've tried the durian smoothie, soursop smoothie, jackfruit smoothie, and avocado smoothie, and each one was excellent. Additionally, Bambu features amazing snow ice desserts with a variety of toppings to choose from. Prices for drinks range from about $4.50 to $6.25, depending on your selection. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try!"

I always get the roasted milk tea with boba here. The milk tea is wonderful with a strong tea flavor. This is the only place I've been to that makes this flavor. However, the boba, although still good, always seems to be a little undercooked(or left out for too long? .

Great place for shaved ice, smoothies, and boba tea. They also offer a nice variety of board games (shout out to Hedbanz). The K-Pop music is played at a comfortable volume—enough to catch your ear without overpowering your conversation. Our server was very patient with our indecision about toppings and provided some excellent recommendations, which we really appreciated. The prices are reasonable for a college crowd. View menu

I recommend this place for its impressive drink wall. I tried the snow ice, and while they didn’t have all the advertised flavors, it was still enjoyable. It wasn’t quite the halo halo or shaved ice style I’m familiar with, but it was tasty nonetheless. The ambiance is quite tranquil, which was refreshing after the busyness of the avenue. Although it may lack in atmosphere, it definitely makes up for it with a peaceful environment.
