"I visited Bambū Dessert Drinks for the first time on Monday, May 15, 2023, with the intention of trying a pandan waffle. There were plenty of parking spaces available, and I eagerly made my way to the shop.
When it was time to place my order, I decided to get a pandan waffle with durian. The staff member asked if I had ever tried durian before. Since I hadn’t, she offered me a sample to see if I would like it in the waffle. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and decided to keep my order as is. The wait was about five minutes, and the prices were $5.95 for the waffle and $2.50 for the durian, making my total $9.33 after tax. I paid with a ten-dollar bill and left a tip with the change.
The durian was baked into the green pandan waffle, which had a texture reminiscent of mashed bamboo shoots and a sweet flavor. The experience was delightful and reminded me of the first time I tasted lychee. The pandan waffle itself had a chewy texture and was cooked to a perfect golden crisp. I appreciated the combination of the sweet, meaty durian with the chewy waffle, which had a milder, less sweet flavor. Overall, it was an enjoyable and unique treat!"
