"Not sure how this place got so many 5 stars . It stinks like cigarette the minute you walk in which made me nauseous .the waffle TAKES FOREVER so dont be in a hurry if you gonna order those . The vietnamese coffee is grossly overpriced overly sweet and more for tourist .20$ spend for 2 coffee and 2 waffles im better off goin to a local mom and pop vietnamese restaurent or che cali . This place is more for hipster if anything . The coffee was weak and extremely disappointed . The waffle were meh and they got the nerve to charhe extra if you want to add on coconut . Seriously this place is so overpriced and so not worth the money you are paying wont be going back .not to mention the staff and customer service isnt all that .... the sitting area outdoor is small narrow with view of a parking lot . Not good for a date , romantic time or anything really .... its loud inside can barely hear the person next to you . Not the most relaxing atmosphere . Its mainly a bunch of retire old men with nothing else to do of their day just hanging there .there are many better TRUE vietnamese place around this isnt it unless you are looking to get diabetes and sugar overload."

It's quite a busy place. People gather in groups to chat. They have the standard milk boba teas but their popular ones I tried are with glass jelly, red bean, taro ice cream and liked it.

I absolutely loved the variety of drinks they offer at this restaurant! It must be one of their specialties. My husband ordered one for me and I didn't even want to share because it was so delicious! View menu

Nice desserts shop. Had mango yogurt slush and this waffle thing. This crunchy-chewy waffle thing is a bomb, crunchy outside with green mochi chewy texture with a hint of coconut (similar to Klepon) inside.

Had the avocado durian shake for $7. It was definitely worth the money. Creamy shake with a nice and strong durian taste, although I couldn't taste the avocado. Maybe because of the dominant durian taste. They also have choices of Che (vietnamese dessert) and coffee.

This location is usually busy and most people are ordering to go. They are fast at getting your order to you. My favorite drink at Bambu is their avocado smoothie. Their desserts are also great, I recommend tasting their waffles I like the pandan one or trying out their signature dessert drink. View menu

Cute little drinks shop located in the plaza! There's ample seating and the ambiance is very casual. Service is super quick; it took less than five minutes for our three drinks to come out.Drinks have gotten pricey here $6-7+ , yet the quality of the ingredients don't shine enough to justify it.The bambu special is very watery; there is at least a half cup of just crushed ice swimming with the seeds and coconut water. The jelly is also very watery and thin. The coconut water is an overpowering flavor, which would be fine if it tasted fresher; it had almost a plasticky, preserved flavor and smell to it.The overall experience is confusing and lackluster. I wouldn't come back.

A variety of desserts and drinks with appetizer foods. When i orderd my drink of choice, they didn 't have a large amount of jelly with the main beverage, no coconut jelly or even the most most common, strawberry jelly, I asked for leeche but oh well, settle for passion fruit jelly. I am overall satisfied with my honeydew milk tea, at least the drink was custom made to what I asked, go and get some drinks if you 're in the mood for refreshing flavors, go cool yourself down with some good refreshing smoothies and teas! The only reason I gave a 3 star is that too many smokers in and around the shop are not good for people who can 't tolerate the air circulating amongst the customers in and out...

"So I suppose it's up to the manager of a restaurant whether to replace a returned entree at no extra charge the customer for the uneaten food. Whatever the policy at Sakana (we didn't ask when we saw the item in question added to our bill, we didn't feel like getting into an argument), we still found the attitude of the server when my girlfriend didn't enjoy her spicy miso ramen to be unacceptable. Instead of simply offering a replacement when my girlfriend explained that she couldn't taste any miso in the broth, the lady server told us that the miso ramen tasted as intended and that adding more paste to the broth would make it too salty. It still didn't taste very good, but whatever. Fine. My gf orders the curry ramen instead. It's pretty decent, nothing to write home about. At the end of the meal, we get charged full price for the spicy miso even tho all she ate of it was the egg added at additional cost. Did not mention this before the bill came out. We probably would've moved on without complaint if we hadn't been talked down to when trying to replace the order or had the return policy more clearly explained to us. Will not be coming back due to this experience. I've been to better and more expensive restaurants that return and replace an entree, no questions asked, especially when -you didn't eat it-. I've had $50 steaks taken back without being charged, but you're gonna die on the hill of your watery $15 ramen? No thx. The food, for the most part, is okay. My tonkutsu ramen broth was acceptable, tho my pork was overcooked. My gf's replacement curry ramen was better than the spicy miso, but it was not great. It did have tasty fried chicken, but very few other ingredients besides noodles and spinach. She wasn't so into it. Where the cuisine shines is the sushi. The fish tastes like it's well sourced and is adequately competitive for the price range. We didn't love the ramen experience, but we were actually considering coming back just for the sushi before we saw that they'd charged us for the returned food. The shrimp shumai appetizer was tasty but a little skimpy on the portions, four tiny dumplings for $8 or $9. Ultimately, Sakana is worth going to if you just want sushi and don't mind a somewhat cramped and loud atmosphere during peak hours and a snooty attitude from the staff. I'd have added more stars if not for the service experience. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Recommended dishes: Nigiri"
