I had an excellent halibut fish and chips—lightly breaded and cooked to perfection. The service was top-notch, making for a pleasant dining experience. For lunch, the price per person was reasonable, around $10 to $20. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4.

We had lunch here today and enjoyed the fish and chips as well as the shrimp and chips, both of which were absolutely delicious. Beautiful lightly breaded fish accompanied by the crispiest fries on the coast, and every meal comes with shrimp cocktail to top it all off. This is the best fish and chips I've had in a long time. I gave 4 stars for service because there was some foul language coming from the kitchen that my child could hear in the outdoor dining area. The atmosphere received 3 stars since it has more of a bait shop feel than a traditional restaurant—it's not fancy, but the food is good, which keeps us coming back. For parking, there's a large pier parking lot directly behind the bait shop. It can get quite crowded, but the walk isn't too bad; you can enjoy wooden art and actual paintings along the pier if you want to stroll. We both opted for the fish and chips, and the fish is freshly caught, flaky, and incredibly tasty. While the fish could have benefited from a bit more seasoning, the crust, made primarily of cornmeal, was still enjoyable for me, even though I tend to prefer a more traditional deep-fried texture. In fact, it was so good that I found myself requesting extra tartar sauce, which turned out to be unnecessary. I also asked for malt vinegar—less common at this location—but I was given packets of Heinz malt vinegar, which didn’t enhance the fish dining experience.
