"I made a lunch reservation over the phone a few days in advance for a group, and they informed me that we had to arrive by 11:30 since they close at 2 PM. Make sure to reserve a duck (or more) in addition to the table. They carve the duck right in front of you, which results in two plates of wonderfully juicy and tender meat with crunchy, fatty skin. One duck is more than enough for each person to get at least two wraps, and we still had some leftover. Most groups will likely need to order extra wraps. You can use the leftover duck to make a delicious soup, or you can enjoy the fried bones. The soup was fantastic. We also tried a variety of other dishes, all of which were great. The service was excellent, and our food arrived quickly. One popular dish I highly recommend is the spicy cauliflower. If you have a lower spice tolerance like I do, just ask them to make the dishes less spicy, and most of them should be manageable. I would definitely go back!"

I would give 3.5 for this place. The roast duck is obviously sliced the way tooooooo thick. I’m from Beijing so the expectation and bar might be too high :D

Reminder: call at least one day in advance for peking duck! We had to come for the second time because we didn't reserve in advance. The duck had more fat than expected. The skin was not super crispy. The duck bone soup with tofu was pretty good.

I called at around 3:30 PM and was able to pick up an order of Peking Duck at 5 PM. I appreciate that they offer a Peking Duck Set that includes two containers of duck napa cabbage soup. Overall, it was quite delicious! I just wish they included a bit more cucumber and green onion.

BIG NEWS: you no longer need to call one day ahead to order the duck. I was able to order it day of using their qMenu system online. It's a bit tricky to navigate if you don't know Chinese but just use Google Translate and you will be fine. Best peking duck in the peninsula region! View menu

I used to enjoy their lunch specials, but they’re currently only offering takeout. I called ahead to order the Peking duck set for pickup the next day. It comes with a generous soup, and I recommend adding some extra pancakes, as they tend to run out quickly. While it can't compare to enjoying it fresh at the restaurant, it's still quite good considering the situation. I find that some of their other dishes are a bit too salty or heavy for my liking, but the duck is fantastic.

The duck was great. But really, have you ever had a bad duck? You have to order in advance if you want one.  We ordered one at the time we called for a reservation. The duck was prepped at table-side, and the presentation was pretty good. It was steaming hot. You get two plates of meat/skin and the rest of the duck is brought back to the kitchen to make a soup to be brought out later. The hoisin sauce didn't come with any spoon or anything so we had to use our chopsticks. The eggplant dish was pretty flavorful. The cauliflower was unique, and very good too. It wasn't overcooked. Food came out at a very reasonable pace. Unfortunately, the soup made from the duck was pretty bland. They simply...

"To say I am disappointed will be an understatement. After waiting for 1 hr 25 minutes for a patio seat, I finally got in. I was with a party of four people, which the restaurant people knew from the very beginning but still they made us sit in a small table which could barely accommodate plates glasses along with the grill. That’s a big negative for me from the get-go. The server, he was in such a rush that we could barely understand what he was saying. Now the food, which we got after a long wait. It was utterly disappointing. There were no flavors in the meat. They were bland and super boring. Even the miso soup was yuck. It’s a tapas style restaurant, so you are looking at really really small portions of meat. We tried the set menu for two people, which was not enough at all. We had to order extra portions of meat. Basic things were missing in this restaurant. I don’t know why people gave such high reviews about this place. Food was served, but there was no chopsticks/spoon or anything. When I asked a server, how do I drink the miso soup he says in Japan people drink it from the bowl. HELLO we are not in Japan so that was a very stupid answer which I got. Asked for four spoons got only one. Multiple reminders had to be given to the server for plates and tissues, etc.. The ambience to be honest sucks in this restaurant. Inside was so noisy and claustrophobic with people speaking on the top of their voice it will give a headache to anybody. Outside was dirty. The heaters were not enough and the service was pathetic. Dave your money go somewhere else. Skip this place!! Parking: Parking is terrible, specially in weekend. Good luck finding space to park"
