"We've been in Livermore for 15 years and I've never tried this place. I love a good burger, but for some reason it seems very difficult to find. Finally decided on our way home from a camping trip, ordered a few 1/3 pounds of Burger Combos. Burger ate very dry, so disappointing. The frits were fresh and crunchy, they were the best part of the meal. Absolutely not to compare with John's Char Burger in my opinion, not to return."

The food was excellent! The burgers are among the best I've had, and I would definitely return. However, the staff member at the register was quite rude.

Classic flat top burgers like you might get at a local baseball game. Fries were good too if you like thick fries with a potato taste. Onion rings are well done, stayed together when you bit into them. Will definitely be back.

If I could rate this place 6/5 stars I would. I ordered the mushroom burger, and based on it alone I would rate 5 stars. I got a milkshake which was phenomenal, the fries were wonderful, and the service was top notch. Depending on where you sit you can see them cook the food if you want. View menu

If you are looking for a good burger, Ben's won't disappoint. They have a good variety on their menu, including onion rings, which are oddly hard to find these days. Everyone should try the mushroom burger; the BLT is ah-mazing. Overall, Ben's is acute little family-owned place with great burgers and great service.
