Baked potato was a 5! Turkey was incredibly. Sliced brisket, not so much. Good smoke ring but very tough. Still, a good stop, clean and friendly folks.

The potato's are never done. They're hard and crunchy a baked potato should not be crunchy. For what you are charging and for them bragging about the potato's they need to be done all the way.

Large menu on the wall was a little hard to navigate at first. Place your order at the counter and they bring it out to you. It was prepared quickly and was hot when it arrived. Very good taste to the meat and a good BBQ sauce. Well worth the stop.

Excellent! We are just passing through about 3 hours away from home. I would seriously consider the drive just for the bbq. Service was really nice as well. We walked in 5 minutes before they closed and they were very kind and let us order and get inside even though they were closes.

My family met here, on a trip and enjoyed our lunch so much that we've stopped several times since. Every we are in the area. Huge baked potato was awesome. BBQ pulled pork was incredible. We drove from North Carolina to Texas and spontaneously stopped at the Hope, Arkansas exit. We decided to try the BBQ at Jake's and we were not disappointed! The staff was polite, cheerful, and professional. The food was delicious and the restaurant and restroom were very clean. We will definitely stop here again when we pass through!

I know this is a popular local barbecue joint point. I've been there many times and I have always had the same observation, which is the barbecue is the barbecue is fair.It's not wonderful and it's not bad, just fair..Due to the fact that the BBQ sits in holding pans for long periods of time, things get dried out. I like my barbecue very moist..With just a little bit of work and some fine tuning, they could turn this place into a really nice restaurant.

I ordered a brisket sandwich, coleslaw, and potato salad at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the brisket tasted like processed meat with no smoky or BBQ flavor. The coleslaw was average, with the server unable to tell me if it was made with vinegar or mayo. The potato salad was also nothing special, similar to the coleslaw. While the portions were on the larger side for a small town, there was nothing unique or exceptional about the dishes compared to other places. Overall, the experience was underwhelming. View menu
