"We were promptly seated at a cozy corner table by the window at 6 PM. However, things took a strange turn from there. Our server rushed us to place our orders despite our requests for more time since a couple of us were first-timers. She repeatedly attempted to take our order in quick succession, which felt overwhelming. After placing our order, we didn’t see her again. After about 10 to 15 minutes of waiting, we managed to flag down one of the owners to place our order. On the positive side, the food arrived promptly, was well-prepared, and we had someone refill our water without us even needing to ask. I particularly enjoyed the Agedashi Tofu and the Nasu Karashi (grilled eggplant in house-made miso sauce). The eggplant came with three wooden spoons for sharing, and you could see the steam rising from its tender, flavorful flesh. Unfortunately, aside from the water, we received no further attention from the staff, including our initial server, to check if we needed anything, wanted dessert, or were ready for the check. When we tried to get the attention of another staff member, he seemed annoyed and stood several feet away, expecting us to communicate our needs from a distance. When we asked a young lady about our server, she responded unfriendly, saying, "Well, the owner took your order, right?" It wasn't the answer we were looking for as we wanted to inquire about dessert and receive basic service. Her dismissive tone discouraged me from ordering any sweets. While I usually try to be understanding when staff are busy, the complete lack of engagement and the staff's attitudes left such a negative impression that this will be my first and last visit to this restaurant."

Convenient parking is available, and the intimate dining room provides a perfect atmosphere for a meal. The sushi is top-notch, and despite being busy, the service was outstanding. The friendly bartender serves strong drinks, and the seating is the most comfortable you’ll find in town. Overall, it’s a fantastic discovery! View menu

We visited this restaurant for the second time tonight. It's a great place and we can't wait to go back! The rolls are good, the beef teriyaki was tender and the sauce was delicious. The ambiance is fantastic and all the staff is so friendly. Would highly recommend making a reservation unless you are walking in early in the evening. Also, the lychee martini is a must!

We found this place for sushi in Sandy Springs, Georgia! We had the 20 piece sashimi, it was a chef special picks, so you really don't know exactly what you get! The pieces were too thick! We had spicy salmon roll, shrimp tempura and vegetable tempura! The shrimp tempura was good but expected a little larger, the flavor was good! The spicy salmon roll was pretty tasty and had just the right amount of rice! The service was great!

Excellent taste, bit high priced. Excellent service. Prices listed on the website are much less than in restaurant charges. Ie:nabeyaki udon 14.50 vs 18.50. Take sashimi 28 95 vs 33.95 Best sashimi I've had since before pandemic. Miso and udon soup very flavorable! Shrimp gyoza wow taste. Complimented owner/mgr on good tasting food, but Chicken teriyaki was small portion. She explained it was more like appetizer size. Complimentary small cake desserts. Will be back periodically, but not as often View menu

A Hidden Gem! I discovered this delightful restaurant while searching for a dinner spot on a late evening. It's charmingly located in the same plaza as Cinema Springs Taphouse. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the serene jazz atmosphere and soft lighting. My server was incredibly attentive and offered great guidance on the menu selections. The FRESHNESS of the sushi truly sets a high standard for other sushi places in the area! My dishes arrived swiftly, and as I savored each bite, my taste buds were in paradise! The extensive wine selection is sure to satisfy a range of preferences too. Overall, Bishoku is an ideal place for catching up with friends or enjoying a date night....

This is a hole in the wall restaurant. This shopping center is next to a busy intersection and is adjacent to a Chipotle. The shopping center looks like it was built in the 80-90s and could definitely help with a power wash. Restaurant is packed for no reason likely because there are higher concentration of people in this area. I have been to many Japanese restaurant (Japanese owned) in the area and Michelin starred in New York and LA, and this place is overpriced for no particular reason. Just having some dim fluorescent lights don't make a restaurant high end or using towel to wrap your chopsticks. I ordered a take 10 (10 small piece of sashimi) that came with no salad or soup and two roll...
