"Make no Bones about it you will be Bitter in the end. Nice place for a few drinks but absolutely will not win any culinary awards anytime soon. Both orders were wrong out of the gate after a lengthy wait.The quality of the food wasn 't even on par with cafeteria food. As a native North Carolinian I have a had tons of pulled pork, this was hands down the worst I have ever had. The first sandwich took about 20 minutes to get to the table. The second corrected sandwich came out about 3 minutes after I told the server it was wrong. Odd, right? The icing on the cake would be waking up at 2:00 am and getting violently ill. The fries were rock hard, overcooked, and barely edible. The two stars is for the servers who hustled to keep everything moving along and the beer."

Fun spot with many gluten free options on the menu. Been back a few times over the years and the food has always been delicious and great quality. Fun atmosphere and drinks, and they sometimes have live music. Dietary restrictions: Many gluten free options available!

Bitters and Bones in Saranac Lake is a great spot for takeout. The menu is always adding new and delicious options, especially for vegetarians. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It's the perfect place to stop after a strenuous hike in the mountains, with outdoor seating available. The only drawback is that the indoor dining area can get really loud, but you can always opt for outdoor seating or takeout instead. Overall, a fantastic dining experience! View menu

Our party of four all enjoyed our meal beverages. The wildflower martini was a treat! We started with the roasted Brussels Sprouts, cooked perfectly and delicious. My meal was the Sweet Onion Chicken Sammy which tasted wonderful. Hubby had the fish and chips which he loved. Another diner in our group had the maple wings and salt and vinegar wings; he said they were some of the best wings he's ever had. Food came out quickly, service was excellent, and we loved the rooftop dining area! We'll be back!!

Bitters and Bones is definitely my favorite eatery in Saranac Lake! Yesterday, I had a really delicious lunch: the Tokyo Burger with their made fresh made from scratch fries! Si was a terrific server, who made sure we had a great experience; she couldn’t have been more efficient and friendly. Bitters has two amazing decks for outdoor dining, plus two dining areas inside; the upstairs dining room has a view of the Bitters brewery, which produces several beers, including seasonal specialties. Broadway Blonde is my favorite. Eating great food, getting top notch service, and sitting on the back deck on a gorgeous Adirondack summer day is pretty unbeatable!
