"Had a decent experience of picking up a big order until I found a hair in my food. Really not a big deal, it happens! The problem comes after that. I sent someone who shortly followed to solve who belonged to staff and management talk badly about me and my integrity. The hair was made in the salad and I couldn't even pull it out. You can see that I pull it, but it's so long that you can't even see my hand, and it still remains wrapped in the salad around pepper in the image. First and last experience"

Nothing to complain about. Service is great, their wings are awesome and the sauces are pretty good!

Came in for lunch on a weekday, wasn't too busy. Food was hot and service was decent. Had pulled pork, bakes beans, and mac-n-cheese.

For some time, food has always come fast, even on busy days. Especially the servers are great! Pam, Mary and Tonya take the already great experience to the next level. You? re the reason I held this Sunday Bono?s ritual. I would recommend this location to anyone! View menu

Been coming here for a while, the food is always quick, even on busy days. Most of all, the servers are great! Pam, Mary and Tonya take the already great experience to the next level. They?re the reason I?ve kept this Sunday Bono?s ritual. I wouldrecommend this location over any!

Staff is great, and most foods are good. Turkey is always on the point. But the last 3 or 4 times when I have brisket, including today, it is incredibly dry. Not sure they have a problem with their pits or what. Taste is good, but now too dry. I'm staying with the turkey and the pig from now on.

Staff is great, and most of the food is good. Turkey is always on point. But the last 3 or 4 times when I've gotten brisket, including today, it's been unbelievably dry. Not sure if they've had an issue with their pits or what. Flavor is good, but toodry now. I'll be sticking with the turkey and pork from now on. View menu

They obviously pre make there salads and don?t check the lettuce quality before giving it to you. I ordered a turkey salad today, Tuesday October 11th and on the salad box with rotten lettuce it has a sticker that says ?Sunday?. After tip I spent $20 on a salad and sweet tea and the salad I cannot even eat. When I called back yo let them know they placed me on hold and never came back to the phone. Photos attached.

Tasty and delicious! Succulent meats and good BBQ side dishes from corn to beans and cole slaw. The ribs are mouthwatering and won today's contest! Chicken and pulled pork are also solid choices. Variety of barbecue sauces (I recommend trying different mixtures, personal fave is the hot as a base with a good amount of sweet/tangy and a pinch of hickory). Save room for dessert the banana pudding and cobbler are both tried and true.

"Had Foie Gras and Escargots for starters. Foie Gras was done to perfection with a little sweetness in the currant topping to blend wonderfully with the rich creaminess of the foie gras itself. The escargots were perfect. The light cream sauce with just the right whisper of garlic and fine strips of spinach richly supported the tender escargots. My entree was the bone in pork chop. It was superbly prepared, a nice light crispness on the outside and todiefor lush, tender, juicy meat on the inside. The apple compote accompaniment added a perfect sweet foil to the meaty toast of the chop.Perfectly done.Other entrees at the table included braised ox tail and the scallops. Both were expertly prepared. The ox tail was rich with a wonderful sauce that brought out the best of both meat and bone marrow, very satisfying. The white acre peas and fried shishito peppers that rounded out the dish were the right balance to the richness of the ox tail and were cooked to perfection. The scallops served atop creamed corn and english peas were also a delight. The scallops were good size, but extremely delicate and tender and the accompanying corn and peas outstanding. the pickled shallots were a real surprise adding a very inspired and charming savory element to the dish. Outstanding all around! While one might think it couldn't get better than this it did. Our service was provided by Beau, maybe BOW for his Bowtiewho was both our waiter and the sommelier for Matthews. His professional attentiveness and conversation was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone at the table. Bravo Beau!"

"Black Sheep is a great restaurant. The service is almost always excellent and this trip was no exception. Our waiter was great, personable and prompt. We had multiple happy hour cocktails which were of high quality and delivered quickly. The happy hour drinks are a great value. The Dusty Boot is my favorite and I hope it never leaves the menu. The food was good and tasty. The kitchen at Black Sheep is one of the best in Jacksonville. However the price for the food, even for the happy hour items, is getting out of hand. I have visited Black Sheep since they have opened. I’ve watched the pricing on the food increase over time and several items are now 30-50% higher than they were several years ago. Vegetable sides for dinner are now $7-8 dollars. A large salad is $14. These items used to be $5 and $10. The cheapest sliders for happy hour are $9. There is less meat on all three sliders combined than would be in a single small sandwich. The cheapest main for dinner is a $15 burger WITHOUT CHEESE. A slice of cheese is $1. One. Dollar. So $16 for a cheese burger and some shoestring fries. I know it’s grass fed beef but still! It’s obscene. If someone at Black Sheep is reading this, please, work on that menu and the pricing. You have slowly priced a loyal customer out of visiting your restaurant. You have good food but the value is no longer there. You have competition now, even in your own neighborhood. I love your restaurant and want you to win me back."
