"Ok I definitely enjoyed my order but it wasn't the best. It's more like if you're craving a ok Jamaican spot and your favorite spots are closed then this is the spot. The oxtails were good but hardly no meat and kind of fatty. It had potential! The rice and beans was the best thing on the plate but without the meat it's like what's the purpose. I say check it out for yourself because it's not a don't ever visit spot. Just go in with a mediocre expectation and boom enjoyable. The presentation was nice as well."

Not the best quality. Oxtail did not have enough seasoning and didn't have that Jamaican kick that it's supposed to have. Had to eat it because we spent the money.

This is a restaurant I hope never leaves New Orleans, except maybe to move to Baton Rouge! The owner is a very kind older gentleman. I used to really enjoy the buffet before COVID, and I can honestly say I never had a bad meal there.

Delicious! I’m thrilled to have discovered this incredibly affordable yet tasty spot. I can still savor the spiciness of the food. Just a note: it's important to distinguish between sharp, hot, and spicy heat when considering this review. The coco bread was also fantastic, and the plantains were sweet—mmm! View menu

Ordered from Uber Eats. Good Jamaican food in a predominantly Cajun area. Chicken patty was not desirable but the Vegetable was good. Beef Patty was good, was a but hesitant when it was named Rare Beef. Rice and Peas with Jerk Chicken was great. Plantains weren't thoroughly cooked and Mac and cheese was milky and bland.

This is a very Jamaican restaurant. That's the caveat. Service is slow and discombobulated so carry patience with you and you'll make it through. The rice and peas was good. Oxtail needed gravy. The plantains were delicious as were the spicy patties. I spent an hour plus waiting. Learn to go easy and remember your patience.

This was my first time at the restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious! I ordered the healed bun with tears, borons, and plantains. My lunch companion had the fried chicken, and I got to taste it as well—it was delightful. There’s so much more I want to try, especially the goat and oxtail dishes. The roti was incredibly tasty too! I can’t wait to come back for more. View menu

This restaurant used to be great, but now they rarely answer the phone and often don’t have one of their signature dishes available. There's hardly ever any roti, and unfortunately, there aren’t any other places nearby that offer it. This place had the potential to be the go-to spot, but it seems they can’t manage to answer calls, let alone prepare what’s on their menu.

All I wanted were beef patties but I made it worth their while and ordered a plate as well. I was told it would take 25 minutes. I come in, tell them my name and then waited an additional 45 minutes. When I try to get help they told me to hold on and served at least 10 other people. I finally get home and bite into my patty only to find out they're veggie patties. Nice people and good food but this isn't the only time my order was messed up.
