Bun Bo Hue - Menu

What it lacks in size it well makes up for in quality. My all time fav is their staple, which is BBH, but it's a very extensive menu with a wide variety, from: appetizers, to main dishes. I highly recommend this hidden gem

Their service is good , the time we have Bun Bo is not that great, the broth is plain, it is hit and miss. I had one last year, was much better taste.The steam rice cup cake, not so great.Hope restaurants can improve the taste.

Assuming the name Bun Bo Hue , one would think that that 's their top dish but man, big disappointment. I ordered the bun bo Hue, the wifey had porridge. My bun bo hue didn 't have that authentic flavor, the broth was semi sweet, no lemon grass flavor, no fermented shrimp paste. Overall, will not return. View menu

My family has been going to this resturaunt for over 20 years and it has never dissapointed. We always order banh beo and the signature bun bo hue and they are excellent. I will have to say though, the cleanliness of the resturaunt is not great and the service as well. At the end of the day, it’s the food that counts though!

We ordered a bunch of different things for delivery and it was a very mixed bag. The Ban Ram It was fabulous wish we'd gotten more than one order. The fried rice was also very good though it was weird that it had salmon it. The roasted chicken was awful incredibly small, dry, overcooked and flavorless. Everything else too many to name was ok. We did not have BBH which was maybe a mistake. If you like their BBH, be sure to order a side of Ban Ram to go with it.

Went into the restaurant and sat myself at an empty table. I looked around and notice the girl behind the counter by the register carrying a dog like its a human baby. Ooohhhhh WTH i thought to myself and stared in shock. LOL she then went in and out of the kitchen while carrying the dog. Got up and left immediately without saying a word or a word said to me! I ordered two things: banh beo(the white steamed dumpling with dried shrimped in the mini bowls) and mi quang. The banh beo was 5stars. The wheat mi noodle was 3.5 . I should have ordered the bun Bo hue their specialty, but was hankering for yellow wheat noodle. I wasn’t super impressed, it was still good, but not as flavorful as others I’ve had. Their yellow noodle was ok, broth ok…I also ordered 2 Korean bbq beef plates Togo for my hubby and son…only 3 stars, I think I could’ve made it better,the beef was a bit raw and flavor ok, not special

I used to come here as a kid all the time when I lived in the area. Coming back after so many years was nostalgic in itself. This restaurant is a hidden gem and I would recommend everyone in the area try it! The service was great and the workers are super nice and wanted to make sure everything was perfect with our meal. Of course, I had to get their Banh Beo (Ground Shrimp over Round Rice Cakes) and it's exactly like I remembered! Banh Beo is not one of my favorite food but I love how thin and flavorful this place makes it. The fish sauce was also really good and the jalapenos added a nice spicy kick to the appetizer. The variety of options is what caught our eye. We came on a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed. We ordered bun bo hue, banh beo, nem nuong cuon, banh it ram, and banh bot loc. The bun bo hue was good but the soup lacked some flavor and tasted slightly watered down. It came with a small portion of noodles. The banh beo was soft with ground shrimp and fried pork fat on top. It would've tasted better if their nuoc mam wasn't bland. The nem nuong cuon was pretty good especially with the sauce. The banh it ram was chewy and crunchy with a good shrimpy, meaty flavor.
