"Recent menu additions are exceptional, such as the BBQ Pork Mac Cheese and Red Rock Chili made with red beans and beef, served with homemade corn muffins. The Veggie Chili, with broccoli, is a unique and delicious option. For those looking for a filling sandwich, the Trailblazer with smoked turkey and cream cheese slaw on pumpernickel bread is a must-try. Pair it with a side of dill-rich potato salad for a flavorful combination. If you prefer a lighter option, the Fall Apple Salad with crisp apples, juicy grapes, fresh walnuts, and bleu cheese crumbles is a winner for any season. Vegetarian options are also available, including the Casa Burrito with refried beans and cheese that can be customized with your favorite toppings. To satisfy your sweet tooth, enjoy a cup of coffee with a homemade dessert like cakes, pies, tarts, or cookies. Call of the Canyon has something for everyone, from savory meals to decadent treats."

I love Call of the Canyon cafe. Their Mac and cheese is amazing with pulled pork, buffalo chicken, or just plain as it comes. I have also tried several candy pies and they are magnificent. Service is great.

The food was delicious and arrived quickly. Service with a smile and good conversation. I like the places you just pop in and get treated like a regular, like a friend. I love the extensive dessert menu and great prices!!!

Stopped in for the first time since 2013 and was treated like a close friend! Saw familiar faces and when i got home with my order, a piece of pie was added! Such a kind staff and my food (Zane Grey) was so yummy i wished I’d be ordered two! View menu

I'm giving this place 2 stars for the desserts alone! Yummy worth coming here for. But, this place is small if it is anywhere near crowded, avoid it or you could be waiting a LONG time for your sandwich. Either they need more help or betterorganization. Sandwich was tasty but.....I was super hungry when it arrived. Should say hard to beat the price for quality.

I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was not only well-prepared but also bursting with flavor. I especially appreciated that the key lime pie wasn't overly sweet; it had the perfect balance. It was nice to be able to savor the flavors of the dishes and engage in good conversation without loud music drowning us out.

"Do not go if it is busy. We have gone before and it was not bad but there was no excuse for tonight. My wife wanted to eat here for our anniversary, celebrating 5 years. Honestly after what we were served I would have rather eaten at Wendy’s. I havedined at many steak houses across the country. The steak I was served tonight I would not have given to my dog. I ordered thesteak medium, reasonable for a steak house because they normally undercook they steaks a bit. It was charred but cold and fleshyin the middle. I took two small bites and couldn’t do it, the steak was rare, honestly more than rare in the center. Iinformed the waiter it wasn’t right and he told me it would be taken back and corrected. After 10 minutes I was brought whatyou see in the picture I posted, the same steak just burnt. Yes it was closer to medium but by this time the outside was notcharred but burned. I tried my best to suffer through it but the taste of the burnt outer portion left a god awful taste in mymouth for the next hour. It was clear to me that nothing was going to be done after displaying my disgust so I payed and weleft. They steak you see in the picture cost me almost $60 alone. I have never been to another restaurant where the bill wasmore than $180 for two people and have been more disappointed. Honestly in bowling green go to Rafferty’s and get bettersteaks for a quarter of the price."
