"Back in the day the food use to be good. We with friends and my son during lunch time and was told they do not sell lunches during the weekend which we were cool with. The lady that served us wasn’t the nicest. The food came out and it was just disgusting. The oxtails were super hard and no flavor whatsoever. The black beans were hard. My friends maduros was cold. The food didn’t taste fresh at all. Definitely will not come back here."

Caridad restaurant back in the day use to be the spot for good food but they not all that today. The food definitely isn’t the same anymore and I don’t go in this restaurant anymore. I usually go downtown Manhattan or other areas if I want good food.

I can’t believe they gave me literally not even a whole fish as part of the lunch special. Stop skimping. It’s insane how LITTLE food I got for the price I paid. Que Sabroso! How tasty! Love the food here. Always very friendly and quick service. My husband and I love eating here. This is the perfect spot for small or large gatherings as they try their best to accommodate groups. I am a vegetarian and appreciate all of the options on the menu for appetizers. Get the Mofongo and tostones. They leave your mouth watering!

I've been buying from this place for many years now. The quality of service and food has gone down drastically. I really only purchase their food to give to my dogs, so it makes good dog food, but if it's not for an animal I would not recommend it. I recommend other places like Brisa Dominicana. Also, the ladies taking the orders by cellphone are super unknowledgeable and rude.
