No watered down sauce. You can tell there 's no skimping on the REAL Parmesan here! So many flavor 'notes ' going on in there. Cheese lovers, rejoice, you 've been seen served. Dietary restrictions: Lots of great options and specials for everyone 's taste buds and needs. Parking: Plenty of free parking and a free City parking lot nearby to boot, so spend the money on their to-die-for tiramisu instead! During our trip back to Pennsylvania, we stopped in Walterboro and decided to try Carmines based on recommendations. We had an exceptional experience with both the food and the service. The staff was attentive and friendly. If we find ourselves in this area again, we will certainly make another visit!

Quaint. Service was confusing. We had two waitresses that kept switching on and off. Couldn't figure out who was taking our order. One was more knowledgeable than the other so I suspect that one was training. Food was good but not exceptional. It was not busy when we were there so that was not a reflection of service or quality. This is a fantastic place for dinner! The food is excellent. Every time we visit Walterboro, I always order for my daughter. Tonight, my nephew came to the restaurant for the first time, and he joined me. We really enjoyed the ambiance; the piano music was wonderfully relaxing, and our waitress was very pleasant. My nephew called it a true gem and declared it has the best steak in South Carolina!
