"Let me start by saying that my husband really enjoyed his burger. It was cooked perfectly, well-topped, and overall a delight. I, on the other hand, ordered the hot chicken sandwich with slaw and mayo on the side. When I took my first bite, I struggled to get through the chicken. While the chicken breast was thin, it was extremely dry and tough—definitely overcooked. I took the sandwich back and asked, "Is this how all the chicken breasts are prepared?" The staff member replied, "Yes." I pointed out how dry it was, and he inquired if I had added the mayo and slaw. This made me think that perhaps I needed to saturate the sandwich with condiments just to make it enjoyable. It was disappointing because I was really looking forward to the food. I gave it another try, but it was still the same. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a waste. The chicken breast should have been thrown away, and Carver's should stick to serving beef!"

Great employees, vast selection of food and meats, and the best burger in GR. Definitely going back.

Great steak selection! Also I had one of their sandwiches. The Monte Carver. Absolutely wonderful. Would absolutely recommend.

Massive sandwich. Tasted great. I think the Cuban could have been slightly better with a different type of mustard but still great nonetheless. Fries were perfectly crispy and saltyFood: 4/5 View menu

This is a fantastic restaurant! However, it would be great if you could provide an option to swap the French fries for one of your healthier sides, such as the baked beans or potato salad. Food rating: 5/5.

We waited forever for food. The workers did not use food handling gloves when preparing our food. Another worker was touching raw meat without gloves. They did not sanitize after touching the raw meat. My family became ill after eating there. Would not recommend.

Just picked up 2 beautiful kobe sirloin that I was so excited about until the man working the counter grabbed them from the case with his bare hands and then proceeded to handle my debit card without washing his hands. Other than that huge flaw, the food looks really good. View menu

Review on sandwiches only: I expected a lot more after hearing great things on this place. The cheeseburger is good, but rather plain, with strong taste of American cheese. The hot chicken sandwich was difficult to eat. The thin, flattened chicken patties had too little meat on it and was overfried making it tough to chew. Otherwise flavor is nice and the coleslaw on it was great. The fries are great though. They do not offer water; only water bottles for purchase

The burgers here are absolutely phenomenal! I was recommended to try this place, and I’m so glad I did. It's situated inside the downtown market and offers an impressive selection of high-quality meats, including Snake River meats, like American Kobe beef. My friend and I ordered a couple of incredible burgers, and they did not disappoint! The fries were crispy and had a clean taste, while the burgers were fresh and topped with what seemed like a delicious aioli. Plus, the ketchup was genuine organic ketchup, not the usual generic stuff. Overall, I really enjoyed my burger and would definitely come back!

"When in town you just have to try this place. A great friend recommended this amazing spot for lunch while I was visiting Grand Rapids very recently from Charleston, SC. Needless to say, my buddy was on point. First thing I noticed aside from the quaint nature of the bar area was no televisions. And I’m mentioning this as a positive. You rarely, if ever, see this anymore yet it practically guarantees patrons will at some point engage others. Meeting good folks can be the spice of life. But onto the essentials: the service and food were incredible. Littlebird has many options for basically every taste and diet, but their smashburger garners major accolades. I was going in that direction when I spotted what I was told was an upgrade to an old favorite… the twice-fried Korean chicken sandwich. Mind was blown, and I rarely speak in hyperbole. For starters, they bake their own bread for sandwiches. And I mean this wholeheartedly when I say this was the best bread I’ve ever consumed. It’s perfection. Don’t take my word for it… go experience it for yourself. It melts in your mouth and was the perfect accompaniment and complement to this sandwich. The slaw and sauce just take it to the next level. As a side I chose the house oven-roasted potatoes. Or that’s how they appeared and tasted. Phenomenal. Washed down with a Mexican Coke. It all works. Cannot go wrong. I felt compelled to come here and write this because I was that singularly impressed with this establishment from top to bottom. And I live in one of the best food cities in America in Charleston. Also, a big shout out to day manager Caleb. We got to talking and he was just an awesome dude and a great representative of his employer. He also took time to help with walking directions to the other side of town. Looking forward to our next visit to GR and Littlebird will be the first stop on the restaurant tour. Thanks again!"
