"We called and asked if they still have fresh fish on Fridays and were told yes we have flounder and catfish. So off we go in the rain. My meal and my husband’s were inedible and fish was obviously not fresh and cooked so much it didn’t taste like fish or anything particular. I noticed the French fries other people were getting were very white not cooked enough so I asked the waitress if they would cook mine a little more but it didn’t happen.It was not cheap but cheaply done. I had flounder and he had catfish. We are not complainer’s but for what we paid I just needed to share this."

"Family of 4 cost almost 50 bux. The staff were very nice. The wait for food was a lil long but that's because my 2 teenaged sons eat like trencher men; it was a big order. The dining room was spotless! The bathroom was spotless! All in all it was a nice, quiet meal. Other people than myself ordered the hot cinnamon coffee and it was served iced, but they still raved about the flavor. And my Aunt and I ordered unsweetened tea and it tasted FRESH and as if it had just been brewed...which is a PLUS in fast food land. Thanks Taco Bell...y'all ROCK."

"This place was a waste of time and money. Most of the food was from a box or a can! The chicken was bland, some seasoning was on the skin. How do you mess up macaroni and cheese??? It was bland from a box with slices of cheese melted over it! The bbq was ketchup based with a little honey, not real bbq sauce! The fried catfish lacked the catfish, it was mostly batter. Where was the bbq chicken, ribs and other staples that make a bbq? The only food worth eating was the mashed potatoes and gravy, the popcorn shrimp and the minced coleslaw was ok. The fruit cocktail was from a can and bitter. When we brought it to their attention, we were told that they said it was fine. This restaurant needs Robert Irvine to revitalize their cooking skills before they go out of business."

"I have been to many Waffle House locations and had both good and bad experiences. Tonight, I visited the Waffle House in Weldon, North Carolina and was impressed by the teamwork of three young men working there. They worked together seamlessly, were polite, kept everything clean, and the food was delicious. I was so impressed that I recommend reaching out to the manager to let them know about the excellent service provided by these three individuals. My family and I had initially planned to go to a different Waffle House nearby, but after seeing the poor service from the server, we decided to try this location instead. I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service we received and am a very satisfied customer. Who says men can't run a kitchen?"

"Overall, the food was quite enjoyable. The grits had a casual texture, almost like a soup, while the main dish was thicker. The service was outstanding! My server, Tommy, was exceptional—he promptly refilled my lemonade as soon as I finished, without me having to ask. He recommended the toast instead of the biscuits, and it turned out to be the best part of my meal; it was similar to Texas toast, perfectly toasted on both sides! However, the cashiers were incredibly slow. After waiting in line for some time, I ended up downloading the Cracker Barrel app to settle my bill, even though there were still four people ahead of me."
