"I usually don't leave one-star reviews, but I'm genuinely frustrated with this Chicken Express location. The other one across town is significantly better. This branch has been a constant disappointment. The management seems lacking, and I've only had about one positive encounter with the staff. Every time I place a simple order, they somehow manage to get it wrong. Just tonight, I was at the intercom trying to communicate with a girl who had difficulty understanding me (which I don't blame her for), yet they still got my order wrong when I checked the box. It's incredibly frustrating. I have a lot more to say, but I don't have the time to elaborate—especially since I used to work as a DoorDash driver. I hesitated to write a review because I didn't think it was worth it, but now I'm just tired of the situation. It's annoying that I have to drive all the way across town just to find decent food and customer service from Chicken Express. I understand they may be busy or short-staffed, but if they can’t consistently provide good service, then what's the point of being open? Also, if they run out of something, they should let their customers know—that's not too much to ask."

Their coleslaw always has way to much vinegar in it. Can't eat it, and the white meat is awfully dry. I'll give them another chance because I like them. It's like they don't care anymore.

With a busy line, you might expect fresh and accurate food... not so much. Ordered a 3 piece all-white with fries and okra... I received two legs and a wing. Got home to lukewarm food at best. I enjoy the food when I go to this restaurant, BUT I absolutely dislike how they cram everything into boxes, including sauces and napkins. It's unsanitary as the napkins are exposed to dust and dirty hands. The sauces are constantly being touched. My husband even asked for an additional roll they had in there????? As expensive as the food is, Chicken Express should not be cutting corners by not using pockets or additional boxes!!!

I really enjoy the food when I go to Chicken Express, but I have a major issue with how they pack everything. They cram everything, including sauces and napkins, into those boxes. It's quite unsanitary since the napkins are exposed to dust and hands, and the sauces are constantly being handled. When my husband asked for an extra roll, they stuffed that in there too! Given how expensive the food is, Chicken Express can certainly afford to use bags or additional boxes instead.
