"I discovered this restaurant based on a recommendation from a friend in Scottsdale who highly praised it as one of his top spots for seafood. Despite its unassuming location in a strip mall, I was pleasantly surprised by our dining experience. We were warmly welcomed and decided to sit outside to enjoy our oysters and spicy tuna bowls. While there is no table service, you order at the front and they bring the food to you. The tuna was fresh and delicious, perfectly paired with delicious vegetables. Don't be fooled by its appearance - you will be pleasantly surprised by Chula during your visit."

I go to the location in midtown and love it. Passed through this one months ago and was very disappointed. Fish and establishment looked old. It just got cited for poor food handling practices and lackluster seafood.

Went here on my birthday! Food was fresh, but I didn't expect their spice for sashimi bowl to be so spicy that I couldn't really enjoy flavors of the dish as much as I wanted to taste. I had an amazing experience at Chula Seafood recently. The seafood was cooked to perfection and was exceptionally fresh. There was a wide selection on the menu, and the personnel was knowledgeable and kind. It was a pleasant dining experience because of the lively yet informal atmosphere. I heartily suggest Chula Seafood to everyone who enjoys seafood!

My only complaint is about the service, which seems to improve based on the size of your pre-tip. So, if you leave a generous tip when you place your order, you will likely receive better service. However, if you prefer to leave a cash tip at the end of your meal, the service may not be as top-notch.
