"If nostalgia was an appetite, I'd be fulfilled with the level of costumer and wait service provided last evening for my family. Mr. Charles went above and beyond to make our experience very special after learning we are california natives who once live in Texas. During our residence in Texas we would often eat at Chuy's just to get some of their creamy jelepeño. Well Charles made sure we relived all those beautiful moments we once shared once again. Thank you Charles for your excellent service, you were totally dope. All the best with your career and photography endeavors. Got a little excited with the food and forgot to take pictures! Delicious reliable spot for TexMex. We ordered the Queso Compuesto, Shrimp Tacos and Beef Burrito. Overall very satisfied and so full we practically had to be rolled out of here.Food: 4/5

As an Austin local, I think this place is perfect for a budget-friendly weekend lunch. I tried the veggie enchiladas with Boom Boom sauce, which had a nice medium spice level and tasted great! I thought this was a single location and would be cool. We did get good service. The food was good but it’s just like most Mexican restaurants, a burrito with rice and beans. My meal was listed as spicy and I was pleased that it wasn’t too spicy to eat. I was a little disappointed that there were multiple locations…because I thought it was unique. Bonus for the Jalapeño Ranch dip!

We decided to stop by this restaurant after our daughter highly recommended it. The salsa that came with the chips was light and tangy, which we really enjoyed. My husband and I shared the Chuychanga, and it was delicious! I opted for the green chili sauce, while the bartender suggested the Luke Chili sauce, which turned out to be exceptional! My husband chose the sharp cheese sauce, and he found it to be very good as well.

It’s often one of the first spots we hit when we arrive in Austin, and for good reason. The margaritas and burritos are fantastic, especially considering it’s a chain. We have always gone to Chuys dressed as Elvis and Priscilla on Elvis ' Birthday. Chuys restaurants have shrines to Elvis and decorations of Elvis everywhere. This year the waiter said we usually give free food to those dressed up. He came back and said sorry, our manager said we are not celebrating Elvis ' Birthday this year. Nice. We hadn 't asked for anything and were embarrassed by those sitting around us that heard this exchange.

I ordered the chicken burrito with TexMex sauce. The food was piping hot, fresh, and the rice was a great texture, soft, moist and everything tasted flavorful, no salt needed. My grandmother and aunt ordered the vegetarian enchiladas and they loved their meals! The chips were perfectly crispy, thin and lightly salted. The salsa was surprisingly spicy bc the color of the salsa was not super red, but not too spicy. I think that’s how you know the salsa is freshly made and with fresh ingredients.
