"Very good food. I have no complaints about the food at all. The service could be better. I called ahead and placed an order, the guy I usually deal with was not present but I order from them alot. However, I was about 30 mins away when I placed the order and when I arrived it was not started. It's not because the restaurant was busy because there were 0 customers in the store. The guy who was running the store waited until I arrived to make my order. I called and ordered in advance because I had somewhere to be but because this guy is worried about the store getting paid, they didnt make the order. I would suggest that this store- when taking over the phone orders just require that the customer pays up front. Don't have people who ordered ahead of time waiting around! We call ahead for a reason. So many businesses be focused on the wrong thing. Satisfied customers should always be the goal. I was in a rush and this was a huge inconvenience all because I got a different staff person who decided to change things up. I like the food but unlikely to return."

This restaurant consistently serves undercooked and spoiled food. It may be okay if you are using EBT, but I would never choose to spend my own money there.

My first time eating here is amazing. I order the #15 and I could of barely finish eating. I also brought my brothers with me they enjoy their food. We’ll be back View menu

Walked in and placed our order, steamed lobster, mussels, jumbo shrimp with potatoes and corn. The service was on target, answered my questions and my order was ready in a reasonable time. Prices were good and I will go back.

The 1/2 fried perch was disappointing but ordered the WHOLE pound and it was worth it. A half pound fried shrimp wasn't bad either. The only thing is when you get a platter, they give a ridiculous amount of broccoli and potatoes and 1 sad lonely half ear of corn! Overall fried fish and shrimp delicious ? View menu

I used to enjoy coming to this restaurant for their seafood, but the last two times my experience was terrible. The first time, the broccoli was so hard it seemed like it was barely cooked. When I asked for the fish to be fried hard, it wasn't, and yesterday the fish was over-seasoned as if they had poured the entire bottle onto my plate. The shrimp also seemed to be poorly cleaned. I will not be returning to Crab Island with my kids.

This place is amazing!! I knew exactly what I wanted until the beautiful woman working there showed someone else their food. My mouth dropped and drooled. Lol. The food looks and taste amazing. And unlike other seafood places it doesn't wreak of raw seafood. It actually smells very appeasing and makes you hungry. I came in and they were very busy. The woman was on the phone and taking orders and passing out orders. The men cooking were doing their thing as well cuz everyone food was coming out piping hot and delicious looking and might I add the wait time wasnt long at all. Overall my experience there was 10/10. Whoever owns this place has done a wonderful job choosing and training who works...

"Date night Saturday night. Our reservation was for 7pm, but we were falling asleep, so luckily they were able to accommodate at 6:15. : Only a few tables were occupied. Tall ceilings, nice ambiance, would have maybe liked some additional lighting such as candle light (or faux candle light . The weather outside was lovely and they opened the doors which gave way to French doors with iron railing. they were pretty! Our server mentions that the menu changes pretty frequently so we may not see on the menu what we read online. Fine by me, as you know from my reviews, I 'm always up for a food adventure. I had a gin based cocktail which tasted balanced. Spring Mushroom Mousseline, Pistachio and Drunken Fruit with Date Pecan bread. Mousseline served in a glass votive like ramekin (much like you 'd see foie , was tasty, creamy, albeit a little gritty from the pistachios. The bread came like a small loaf, almost precut (could have been sliced all the way through , with macerated cherry/cranberry compote. For a vegetarian option like foie, we were pleased and ate the entire portion. Scotch Olives with Saffron Aioli. These olives were HOT. No joke. A bit of, could you please blow on this before I burn my tongue? But, they were briny on the inside, with a perfectly coated fried crunch outside, and so yum once the heat dissipated. Nice touch on the aioli. Only 4 of them unfortunately... that 's 2.25 each! Rosemary Grilled Lamb Chops with Seedy Broccolini Salad with Cherries. Wood grilled carrots and pomegranate molasses. $39. Nice presentation. Crunchy but soft carrots, broccolini cooked perfectly. Seemed a bit on the small side as far as meat goes. Two double lollipops. Cooked perfect, and beautiful gamey taste, just not too much bang for the buck. Grilled Sturgeon, warm rice salad, fiddlehead ferns, snap peas. Not a fan of the glaze ontop, the fish portion was fine, but lackluster. I 'm a huge sucker for fiddlehead ferns, and I also know that they can be overcooked within seconds, which these were just slightly overcooked, lacked the snap in your teeth you get from a bright green cooked correctly one. Oh well. With everything in one bite, it was good, just not amazing. We shared the Mexican hot chocolate warm brownie/cake in a cup. The foam was nice, but the inside really reminded me of a fudgy cake you can buy in the grocery store, add water, and nuke in the microwave. Next time, happy to go back just for drinks and apps. Skip the more expensive main courses on their menu."
