"The food was very good, my husband and I both enjoyed it very much. Definitely good portions for the price. However, be prepared to hear a lot of everyone else’s conversations. It seems like a lot of older folks like to come here to eat, so I had to hear very loudly about someone’s husbands bronchitis issue and the green stuff he was hacking up. While trying to eat my meal. Will definitely get my food to go next time, I really don’t want to throw up a $30 meal."

"Very clean and the sandwich artist was really happy to make sure I was satisfied with my salad. I wasn't surprised to also see how the costs have played a huge roll on serving size ppl are given now. Overall a good experience at this location, except there was a rather large area of standing water in the floor next to drink machine which concerned me that someone could have fell because of lightning in the dining room wasn't bright enough to see the water until you were stepping in it. Great meal!!"

"Been eating at this location for four years since arriving in Galax. It has been our Sunday night place for their hamburger/cheeseburger special. Sadly upon reopening in 2023, we feel the quality of the ground beef has changed. The last two visits found hamburger meat that was stringy, unusual smell, thinner size and several small hard pieces of gristle. We will try eating there once more. Hopefully this is not a permanent solution to adjust pricing. Love their ice cream and Coca Cola! Fabulous improvements to the parking lot and facilities."

"My three friends and I had a great lunch experience at this restaurant! We were pleased with everything from the food to the service. We like to try a new restaurant in Galax every week, and this one will definitely be a repeat for us. The portions of meat were generous and everything we ordered was flavorful and satisfying. Parking was plentiful and easy to access. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience for lunch."

"The food and service quality at this restaurant is very inconsistent. There are times when it deserves a 4-star rating, but other times it is so bad that even 0 stars wouldn't be low enough. During my last visit, the chili Colorado tasted watered down and the service was terrible. Additionally, if you order a pick-up order, you only receive one tiny cup of salsa, and each additional cup costs a dollar. Alternatively, you could dine in, take up table space, create dirty dishes, and increase labor costs while enjoying unlimited chips and salsa for free."
