Deli Edison - Menu

This adorable little deli offers some fantastic sandwich options—I'm a big fan of the Reuben! It's stacked high with meat, just like a proper deli sandwich should be. Plus, the chili crisp cream cheese is a staple we always keep stocked in our fridge!

I wish I had looked at the reviews before ordering from Deli Edison. The bacon on the BLT was mostly fat and undercooked. The raisin bagel was just placed in a brown bag without any wrapping, and it was hard and stale. I would rate this deli a big zero!

I've always wished for a restaurant where I could rely on delicious food, prompt and attentive service, and fair prices. When Deli Edison opened close to my workplace, I knew I had to give it a go. Thankfully, it met all my expectations! I really appreciate how they regularly introduce new recipes and create dishes that keep me coming back for more. I highly recommend it! View menu

If you're looking for the Italian, Jewish, or Greek deli like you had back home; this isn't it. What it is, is an excellent sandwich shop with fresh-made bagels, delicious food, and a wonderful, friendly staff. Everything I've eaten there has been expertly prepared from top-quality ingredients. The only negative I can say about Deli Edison is that they're not open longer hours.

They have Taylor ham pork roll in the case for sale which they didn't know what to do with. (So don't ask them to make you a sandwich. Sliced it way too thin. Anyway, still tasted great when I took it home and fried up on my Guglhupf kaiser roll. Camein late on a Sunday but the case barely had anything in it. I prefer to make my own sandwiches. Would have loved to see someLady Edison porkstrami and other Lady Edison deli meat for sale.

I noticed a significant improvement since my last visit about a year ago. The service was exceptional—positive, quick, and professional. The head chef really set a great example, and it was evident that the team is top-notch. The bagel was perfectly toasty and delicious, and the portion of lox was generous. Beyond the amazing food, the staff was wonderful too! The young man at the front today was a genuinely nice person. This place truly has a family-oriented feel, and they bring the New York vibe home in a unique and satisfying way. They also offer meal kits, local beers, and more, all in a very safe grab-and-go setup due to COVID-19 precautions. It’s time to ditch the chain restaurants and fast food joints, folks. Head over to Deli Edison and enjoy some real food while supporting a local business!

We visited the preview this morning for the bagel buffet, and it was fantastic! The variety of bagels was delicious, along with all the toppings. We also tried the lemon scones, apple muffins, and ginger cookies, all of which were delightful. Given that this was a soft opening, we had low expectations, but we were pleasantly surprised. The prices seem reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the food, and they serve coffee from Carrboro Coffee Roasters. Once fully open, this will definitely become a regular spot for our brunch and lunch outings. View menu
