"If you're not from New Mexico, you might not fully appreciate Dion's. The pizza is excellent, but those who have expectations from the East Coast or West Coast might feel a bit confused. For many people growing up in this state, Dion's was a beloved staple. It's not just about the quality of the pizza; it's also tied to nostalgia. If you're visiting from out of state, I recommend choosing a pizza with your preferred toppings or one of their specialties that catches your eye. Personally, I highly recommend the Duke City with extra green chili—it's the best pizza they offer. If you're in the mood for a sandwich, the value is fantastic for what you get, and it tastes great too. The staff is usually quite quick and friendly, and at the end of the day, it’s pizza—we can’t complain too much about that, right? As for kid-friendliness, it's a pizza place, and they even let kids watch the pizza-making process. So if your kids have any issues, it’s probably not related to the restaurant itself!"

The worst pizza I've ever ate. It was dry hardly any sauce or cheese and all the veggies were cold and raw.

Just went here to place a salad order to go and the wait was 25 to 30 minutes for the order to be completed.

It was the best pizza we've had since NYC!! Even joked about buying one to take home for our 3 hour drive, we don't have a Dion's in our home town.

We had a large party (18) and Dion's was good for our needs.. pizzas were good, salads as well. Parking was available even on a very busy day! Stop in and eat if this is your style!

The salads are fantastic, and the subs are excellent too. Unfortunately, the pizza could use some improvement, as the center of the dough is soggy. On the bright side, they offer a good selection of vegetarian options with their salads. View menu

As an out-of-town visitor, my experience at the drive-thru was disappointing. I arrived just a few minutes early, and the staff member seemed irritated by it. Instead of a friendly greeting, I received a lecture about my timing, followed by instructions to park really close to the doors for them to bring out my order. I've never encountered this issue at other locations. To make things worse, I was only six minutes early. I won’t be returning to the Cerillos Rd location, and I noticed that all four cars behind me also had to park and were equally frustrated.

If I could give a no star I would...we stopped to eat here n there was this man in a booth near us...having a convo by himself...cool no big deal...however after the man went into the garbage n pulled cups out n went to front to get refills..n came back n poured it into a personal plastic bowl n drunk out of it....was enough for me to toss my family meal away...there was already anyone in there n the workers should noticed he didn't order food but came w different size cups each time... this is Def a health hazard..if they look away or don't notice this imagine what ever else they don't notice....nasty nasty nasty...I use to inspect restaurants in ga...so yesss Def a 0 on this

"My wife and I wanted a nice, relaxed place to sit outside and have a fun dinner. We were very disappointed with the service. It took our waiter about 10-15 minutes to get to the table (which feels like an eternity while waiting to order drinks). They took our drink order and quickly returned with a cocktail and water, but the beer we ordered was delayed by a few minutes. Not a big deal, but then the night went south. We haven't seen our server in a long time. We felt our starter was a bit delayed when foodrunners showed up with our starters. No app in sight. We let them know and eventually the server brought our app. But by this point we were already in the middle of the meal. The food tasted good. Nothing out of the ordinary, but not bad. I admit the nachos were delicious. The mac and cheese we ordered had breadcrumbs but that was missing. Fortunately, the server took care of it pretty quickly. We were never asked if we would like to have our drinks refilled. And after dinner we waited a long time for our check. It just seemed to take forever for everything. Neither of the problems on their own would have been a big deal, but together it made a somewhat uncomfortable experience. The waiter was nice and apologized. They also put together the starter for us which was lovely. Maybe it was a free night or maybe a new server but can't say I would recommend going on a Saturday night. We also enjoyed the outdoor seating area. It was a little tight, but the ambience was nice."
