"My wife and I stopped at Duffy's Deli for coffee and rolls. Two ladies were working behind the counter busy filling a large order. A young male was working inside the kitchen and from past experience, I knew that is where my lightly buttered rolls would be made.I asked the male if he could prepare two rolls for me when he was able, and I went and got coffee. As I checked out at the counter and was paying the bill, The young lady asked if I was only having coffee. I said no and told her that I had asked for two rolls from the man in the kitchen. At that point the man came forward and told me that I was rude and should not have come into the kitchen which I had not.I payed for the coffee and left the store. I went down the road to another deli and purchased two rolls.I will not be returning to Duffy's Deli and I think that others should consider taking their business elsewhere too."

I really enjoy Southold Cutchogue. The people are friendly and helpful. I had a great experience at Duffy's Deli; the service was quick and the food was delicious. I'm heading east to meet my husband for lunch, and I plan to come back for lunch again soon.

In my opinion, this may be the second-best deli in America. The staff is amazing—every single one of them. They're quick, friendly, and polite. I can't remember them ever messing up my orders. The food is fantastic, and the prices are reasonable. I would definitely recommend Duffy's if you're in the area.

Update: The blueberry muffins here are absolutely fantastic! I had one fresh out of the oven this morning, and it was delicious. They also serve the best breakfast egg sandwiches on the North Fork, hands down. The craft beer selection is impressive, with options available both on tap and in cans and bottles. Plus, there's a well-stocked small market with all the essentials.
