"0 stars 0 So apparently we can no longer wait around inside. Security told us to go wait outside(mind you 105* degrees) i also asked the lady that took my name down asked if we can wait inside she said no I'm sorry we DONT HAVE A WAITING AREA. Well we use to wait inside but ok that's ok I told her. SO WE GO WAIT IN OUR CAR, AC running and see another couple go in AND THEY DONT COME OUT... my husband goes inside goes straight to security and he says to him GO ASK HER, he tells him no, I'm asking you, you told us to go wait outside... Why us and not them? Same amount of people. SORRY we will not return anytime soon..."

I rate them 5 stars for their strong cocktails, tasty food, outstanding service, and welcoming ambiance. They had a decent crowd for a Monday night, which is always a good indication. I dined at this restaurant in October 2017, and it was just as outstanding in 2022. I absolutely love their shrimp with paprika, as well as all their other dishes. The service is exceptional, too. I’d give it a perfect 10, so they definitely deserve the accolades. If you’re just passing through town, it’s a fantastic pit stop—you won’t regret it!

The customer service here is outstanding, and the staff are incredibly friendly. I was welcomed as soon as I walked in and seated right away. Our server provided excellent recommendations, and he certainly didn't disappoint. The chiles gueritos were fantastic. We tried the especial del Mexicali, and the meat was perfectly seasoned and packed with flavor. The Campechana was expertly prepared, with fresh and well-cooked shrimp and octopus. Make sure to order a Mexicali Chavela—you won't regret it. I’m definitely bringing the whole family on my next visit!
