"Maybe it wasn't all that good because it was during the 4th of July weekend and they were busy and short staffed. I ordered barbacoa taco and pancakes. Took close to 30 minutes to get the food and only then did the waitress tell me they were out of barbacoa. So I just had the pancakes,which I feel would not be a good choice to gage a Mexican restaurant on, but I didn't want to wait any longer for something else. If I eat there again I'll update my review but for now, just ok in my opinion. Didn't take pics for the obvious reason."

The breakfast was great, and the service was quick and friendly. The giant burrito tortilla felt like having four tortillas with the breakfast items inside. I'm definitely coming back!

just eat the best I had in galveston. I had the chilaquiles verdes plate and my man had the frogs. everything was super tasteful and the happy ones were super crispy! the beans were delicious and the service was great although they were very busy. in any case it must try. View menu

Our hotel recommended and it did not disappoint! REAL traditional Mexican food. We were in for breakfast and loved the laid back family atmosphere, prices were fair, food was off the charts and the service was good! Surprise burrito(my son) carne guisada(me) and the is rancheros(my husband) we’re all delicious! Next trip we’ll be back!

Food is decent. However the customer service sucks here. Waited 30 mins on my first coffee refill but never got one. Small blonde lady prioritized gossiping with the kitchen cooks and a costumer that walk in and was served before other tables. He was also allowed to serve his own drink. Grabbing pitchers and cups along with silverware without ever washing his hands. I didn't think this was allowed. He was also walking into the kitchen when he doesn't work here.do not recommend this place.
