"I also made the mistake of sitting too close to the owner's table, where the staff took every opportunity to sit down, and some sort of child care was happening. The TV was on, music was playing, and the staff was socializing. The child care arrangement was clearly not working, and the little one added to the noise level. This chaotic environment felt typical of a family-owned establishment, but I had heard it was supposed to be a good place to eat, and my experience did not support that claim.
So, my recommendation is to either concentrate on improving business and customer service or consider closing the doors. This is, once again, a fine mess you've gotten me into, Stanley."
