"Came in for the T-Mobile Tuesday deal with my kids. One of my kids wanted olives, however I was told we couldn't make any changes. My daughter simply wanted to add olives, which is a free topping. I understand substituting meats around or thesandwich for another sandwich type, but adding or removing free toppings?? Insanity. On my order she asked me for white orwheat bread, and I said no bread. They called out name and we left and drove over 20 minutes home. I opened my bag to see mymeat only tucked into a cup. No other toppings. What!? ???? Unreal. And they forgot my pickle to add insult to injury."

I ordered the meatball sub, and it was excellent. The service was quick as well.

Yet another great sandwich by the king of sandwich makers, Firehouse Subs in Tarpon Springs. This prime rib sub was perhaps one of the most tasty subs I have had at Firehouse!

I visited this restaurant for lunch on Tuesday with a friend and my brother, and we were warmly greeted by the staff. The tuna salad sandwich was absolutely delicious! I loved it, and I will definitely be returning.

The Cuban sandwich was tasty, but it could use a bit more pork. We expected it to come with Swiss cheese, but there wasn't any on the sandwich. The turkey cranberry sandwich had a nice balance of turkey and cranberry flavors. Both sandwiches were made fresh. The service was good as well.

This used to be my favorite spot before the pandemic. I ordered a cheesesteak that tasted like it had been sitting in the bathroom for two days. To make things worse, the first thing on the credit card machine was a prompt for a tip! For a $15 sandwich, that's unacceptable. The girl with the braided hair used to run the place much better when she was there. View menu

This used to be my favorite restaurant before the pandemic. I recently ordered a cheesesteak that unfortunately upset my stomach for two days. Plus, the credit card machine prompts you for a tip right away, which feels a bit off—after all, it was a $15 sandwich with a tip on top of that. The service was better when the girl with the braided hair was in charge.

"Tarpon Springs is an interesting place to visit. There 's an odd mix of tourists, locals, and out-of-towners that keeps the area feeling like a tourist trap, but still maintains a certain local charm. Being a settlement of the Greeks back in the day for sponge diving, there is certainly no shortage of Greek themed food establishments. Yeah, some famous named TV chef endorses this one restaurant, and some slightly famous food video blogger raves about another, blah blah. But there is a nice, slightly off the path gem called Costa 's right there in the center of town. First, the service. perfect every time. Nice, friendly, and prompt. Second, the prices are very reasonable. Third, the food is quite simply the best Greek/Mediterranean cuisine on the planet. Portions are more than sufficient to satisfy the largest appetites. Always start with the Saganaki (flaming cheese). We 've had so many wonderful dishes here. The Mousaka will blow your mind! The lamb shank can almost feed two. The Souvlaki (chicken or pork) is so juicy and tender and comes with a ton of garnishes. Their Greek salad is a work of art and comes with a dressing that nears a religious experience. Let 's talk Gyro meat for a second. There are so many variations and recipes for a good Gyro. But, Costa 's has the absolute best Gyro meat on the planet. The seasonings aren 't over bearing and the meat is always glistening with juices and so very tender. When in Tarpon Springs, get away from the dolphin cruise barkers and redundant tourist gift shops for a bit and sit your butt down at Costa 's for grub. You will NOT leave hungry, guaranteed. I would recommend doing a dolphin cruise, BEFORE eating though. There are no public facilities on Anclote Island and the accommodations on the dolphin cruises would be less than desirable for any such... needs ."
