"I will not be going back to the Firehouse on Dawson Rd. in Albany, GA. I was highly dissatisfied with the way my food was made. I asked for extra lettuce and what I was given didn 't even cover the bottom of the container, yet I paid $9.00 and was evengenerous enough to donate my extra change to the firehouse fund when asked. I mean for goodness sakes, be mindful enough to givea generous portion of lettuce when extra is requested--it 's just lettuce! I also didn 't like that the cucumbers and peppers werechopped not sliced--what sandwich joint serves produce for sandwiches like that. The person who made my food was condescendingand said to me on the way out enjoy eating that . Because of my experience, I will not be back. It 's the first Firehouse that Iwas very unsatisfied with. I 'll stick with Jersey Mike 's and even Subway, places that know what they are doing!"

Customers acknowledged and orders quickly prepared. They just need to tidy up around drink area a little more frequently.

Without a doubt, Firehouse offers the best subs on the planet! I actually used to dislike subs entirely, but after trying one from Firehouse, my perspective changed completely. Now, I prefer a Firehouse sub over anything from fast food places!

They just don't add much meat here. I've been to other Firehouse Subs locations and get about twice of what they add here. Not the fastest or nicest customer service but not rude either. However I did raise my rating due to the fact this is a very clean location. It is the one saving grace of my visit.

The employees were friendly, but I asked for no mustard on my daughter's sandwich. She said it tasted funny. And, of course, it had mustard on it. Mistakes happen. I'm fine with that, but mustard was only on half of the large sandwich. It looked as if the guy tried to scrape it off, and that I take issue with. If you mess up, start over! View menu

I ordered the cajin chicken sandwich asked for extra tomatoes extra onions. Took it to go, when I got home my sandwich had no tomatoes no onions despite what my recipe said. At the price they charged I might as well fix a sandwich at the house and drive to the local fire station and give the first firefighter I see 10 bucks. Probably won't be back.

Firehouse should have it where we can see our sandwich being made. That way it will eliminate all those remakes for putting or not putting what was requested.Update I changed my review to 3 stars because again our food was made wrong. My husband can not eat mayonnaise but Firehouse insist on putting it on every sandwich. We didn't know the sandwich was made wrong until we were getting ready to eat tonight! Telling management hasn't solved the problem at all! I will just make my own sandwiches at home for now on!

"We had requested the rounded corner booth in the main dining room and arrived 20 minutes early, planning to enjoy a cocktail at the bar. But instead, we were seated at a booth right next to our preferred one. A couple finished their meal shortly after we sat down, well before our 6:30 reservation. We ordered a Beefeater gin and tonic and a very dry Beefeater martini. Both drinks had an unusual, perfume-like scent that was quite off-putting. My wife sent her drink back, and I decided to switch to a Bombay martini, but the same strange floral fragrance persisted. I regularly enjoy Beefeater and Bombay dry martinis and have never experienced this odd aftertaste before. For my main course, the Duck and Porcini confit ragu had hardly any duck in it. There were only a few shreds of duck meat hidden in the tagliatelle, but no substantial pieces. My wife’s Pesto and Shrimp dish arrived swimming in a broth. While this might be a traditional way to serve it, there was no mention of broth on the menu. She had expected the pesto to be coated on the pasta and oily, rather than soupy. As much as we have loved Capriccio over the past three decades, this experience was disappointing. We didn't even stay for dessert. We'll certainly return, but I hope to avoid writing another negative review. I usually don’t share my thoughts unless absolutely necessary, but I felt compelled to do so this time."
