"Finally a cook is worth kiss!!!! If I tell you, it was absolutely delicious. I've eaten here for almost 20 years, and honestly it's been hit or miss. So it's been a few years since we left. This is my third recent order and I must give credit where his fault. I would like to let the owner know that he has great chefs! I mean people who were proud of their work and waiters who double check your order and just make it right. And from the order card, to the kitchen and then the bag, it was really delicious. Finally someone who can free the chicken better than me and better than my mother. This is a real compliment. My new favorite place. They followed my order to the letter!"

We had a gumbo and a sandwich. The food was great. Fresh, delicious and good portions. The service on the other hand was quite lousy. There were only two more tables with guests, yet it took 40 minutes to get our order. They let us wait another 20 minutes just to process our check, while the waitress kept chatting with the other staff and even enjoying a popsicle..

If I could leave no stars I would. My wife strictly asked for her chicken to be mild and not spicy only because of health reasons. It came out spicy anyway. She never ate it only a small bite to test it. When asked if they would take it off the ticket they said absolutely not. My wife is a waitress also and said that's bad business. You order something specific and don't get it that way after they say no problem and still charge you for it.
