Glory Bound Gyro Co.

I had plenty of time before an afternoon meeting as I was traveling through town, and after searching restaurants, I saw the word gyro. Definitely worth the drive for me to get there...Only complaint was that the portion was a bit small, but the taste was excellent.

Was super crowded in the evening after a matchday. We didn't have to wait until we circle out. We all tried something else and nobody was disappointed! The chicken circle was a generous part and even a side. There were different meat choices for the sandwich. Would definitely do it again!

I honestly was not impressed. The food was bland and cold. Gyros aren't gyros without cucumber sauce. They didn't have it at all. The menu online is different from the menu in the restaurant. The food was just okay—edible, but that’s about all I can say. I hadn't visited this restaurant since it was located downtown, mainly because I seldom go near the campus. I ordered my favorite sandwich from my previous visits, but it was nothing like I remembered. It was dry and lacked flavor. I won’t be returning.

This is a lively spot! Located right in the heart of the university campus, it’s bustling and can get quite noisy, but that only adds to the atmosphere. There’s a vibrant energy here. The menu offers a wide variety of options, including several types of gyros, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and pizzas. The food is quite tasty, and the staff is friendly and courteous.

Visited here after a football game. Needless to say, it was packed. Waited in one line to order food then over to the bar to order drinks. Bartenders were few but had serious hustle. Got drinks quickly. Finding a table was a challenge but got lucky with an outdoor spot. Food arrived quickly even with the huge number of people. Pita and hummus was delicious as was the veggie gyro. It's not often a restaurant brings me close to tears. I ordered takeout while I'm on vacation. About 16 hours from this place. I ordered the chicken and hummus gyro. I would make a picture, but everything would be an empty box. As an adult man, I'm just admitting. I almost knew that I would never eat another Giro that is so good in my life without sending a place to this God in Ocean Spring's Mississippi. Bravo guys. You're driving a bunch of restaurant.

I received an uncooked pizza during my visit. When I called to address the issue, I was informed that there were too many transactions to locate mine, and they requested that I provide photo evidence. This was my first experience at this restaurant, and I was quite disappointed to spend my money on a pizza that wasn't properly prepared. After discussing this with friends, I learned that they no longer order from this establishment for similar reasons. Having worked in a restaurant myself, I know it's not difficult to look up a previous transaction and process a refund. Expecting me to come back and present "proof," while taking time out of my day to correct your mistake, reflects poor busine...

This restaurant is within walking distance of Embassy Suites and the Home2 (a bit farther). We were promptly seated, our drink order was taken and we had menus in hand in shirt order. Our server was nice, but slightly inefficient. Our sauce on the side was forgotten and my brother's gyro didn't come with crispy bacon like it should have. At least the price difference was negligible and the taste was still very good. The $5 gyros all day on Tuesday special made the mistakes easy to overlook.
