"The server who took our order was incredibly friendly and kind. The restaurant was spacious and clean for a taco shop. I ordered three different street tacos, while my wife and daughter shared a Carne asada burrito and three rolled tacos from the specials menu. Everything was delicious and the special was a great deal at only $11. As for vegetarian options, this is primarily a taco shop so there may not be many choices available. It's best to check with the staff about any vegetarian options, as even the potato taco may contain lard. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this restaurant."

This was our first time visiting and wow! The food was so amazing that we returned for dinner. It's one of those places people always drive by and think, "I bet they have good food!" We will definitely be recommending others to stop in. The restaurant is very clean and the food is fantastic. We came back for dinner and had the carne asada pommes, which was delicious. Eh, I was pretty disappointed. I ordered the two cheese enchilada plate, and the enchilada sauce was pretty good but inside the enchilada the cheese wasn 't just not melted, it was cold. Like shredded cheese straight from the fridge inside a corn tortilla sort of heated and covered in warm enchilada sauce. It was not delicious. I almost handed it back to be microwaved. My daughter had the bean and cheese burrito and liked it and my husband thought the tacos were okay but we 've had better. We probably won 't be back. View menu

The restaurant can be inconsistent at times, but overall I didn't have any terrible experiences, just not the most impressive. I always go for the carnitas plate, which I enjoy. The next time, I might try the diced option. The refried beans were also a hit with our group. These are fundamental qualities in the restaurant industry, and even though there's some room for improvement, I continue to support them because they're convenient for me and can have great food when they're on point. You never know until you try it.

I really want to like this place, but they make it difficult. I have had some good food there and some not so good...so inconsistent. Tonight I bought my usual, the Monster burrito. Got home to eat it and it was very dry and extremely salty... Like noticeably salty, and I tend to like my food salty...but damn. That burrito is usually very moist, but even when ordered with extra sour cream, super dry. They charged me for the extra sour cream, but I don't think they even put it in there. Anyways, this happens too often, going to have to eat at Cotijas more.
