"Absolutely fantastic! I just enjoyed a delicious lunch at the restaurant previously known as Chihuahuas. I’ve been passing by it weekly since it transformed into Guac N Cheese, still feeling a bit nostalgic about losing Chihuahuas, but this new place was wonderful. Guac N Cheese will definitely become a regular spot for my lunches. I ordered the #12 Lunch Special, and it was delightful—everything tasted incredibly fresh. Even though it was made to order, I was in and out in just thirty minutes. For only $9 (before tip), I got a full lunch with beans, rice, and a bowl of chips and salsa. Absolutely, I’ll be back! Everything is fresh, including the pico de gallo with onions, so if you have a business meeting or want to avoid onion breath, make sure to request it without the pico. I loved my meal and can’t wait to bring my wife to try the margaritas!"

Beans taste like plastic. They provide very little sauce. Rice is dry. Guac tastes old. In general the flavor is like old meat in a tortilla and fried. Gross. Dont order.

If you're looking for Mexican food close to MacDill AFB, look no further! My husband and I stopped in for lunch. Even short staffed, service was quick and friendly. Our server, Shaw, made some great menu recommendations and brought our meals with asmile. Portions are generous and food was delicious. We will absolutely be back!

I ordered the fish taco for $15, and I was truly disappointed. The fish was small and overcooked. Being a small, family-run restaurant, I hesitated to send it back, worried they might tamper with my food, so I just decided to take the hit. The rice was decent, though a bit tough. Overall, I wouldn’t go back, especially given the meager amount of fish for the price.
