"Details included but summary Food was good and the menu was upgraded a month ago and there is lots of good verity to discover. Yes I will come again and a nice visit with manager Carlo saved the day. That’s the roses ? ?? Now the thorns: Waiter started with this rushed tempo when we had opening reservations eg he did not have but us for the first 40 min. We even told him slow down, we are not in a hurry (went to see Dead Pool and it was A1 Great ?! so we planned for a 2 hour meal. It was good and pic(s to follow. But the waiter is one of those I been here 20 years and must have told us that 6 times. If you been at something that long, your professional service should show it, you don”t need to tell people. Your light shines on its own…. unless your service is bad and it was. This guy had zero self assessment skills and thus no ability to change his 20 year course. He was sharp with words and would say things like “as I told you before ..” I even told him this was going to be a Google Review another words pay attention to service but no he was only going to come to the table if their was food to bring. Add this this … wheels by a cart with a HUGE Lobster Tail . It was impressive! And says “Too bad you’re not going to get this on your review.” Now that was just ugly ! I got the pictures anyway for you… so you can see. This waiter was evenly matched not in a good way.l with his Server Assistant. Ordered a sangria specifically asked if they would add what ever fruit they had into it … it come back with clear wine and no fruit, I ask him and he says “I saw them pastel it myself.” I point out there is no residual of anything at all … reply was he says that they strained it . And then asked if I knew what a pastel was. He flat lied. So in closing I ordered the banana ? foster to film and a few snaps for you. I told him thanks and this would help his review. He says “ Just give me two stars” and he added “it’s too bad Google won’t let us review the guest.” I said “well I am paying to be here and you’re getting paid.” ??Bottom line when I am the one giving service, I truly give it my best. When I am dining I am equally grateful for good service and will point that out on these reviews. I reward with great tips and always a pleasure to name an outstanding waiter. It’s not always fun working with the public and some times you’re just having a bad day. All understood and my Thanks to the Manager Carlo ! And his comped and Best Ever Carrot ? Cake !!?????. I said we went to see Dead Pool And it was great !! This waiter had a Jr Type Deadpool mouth that was just not funny and condescending. I was nice to you with 2 ”s Vegetarian options: They are willing to cook up what ever you like if they have it … 100%! Accommodating"

The restaurant offers a fantastic variety of appetizers, salads, main courses, and desserts. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent choices for main dishes and really enjoyed the mac and cheese as a side. The Wagyu and lobster special was delicious! View menu

I visited this restaurant for my birthday, anticipating a pleasant dining experience given the nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, we waited 50 minutes for our food, and when it finally arrived, the prime rib burger was cold and the salmon was raw and inedible.

The food is good but not as great as you'd expect for the price. The steak was cooked well but was a bit underseasoned. The potato puree was also good but a little bland. For a fine dining experience the price was standard but the food just not up to snuff. Still not bad but I'd rather do 3 steaks at Ruby River for the price of one here. The service was pretty bad. No water refills at all and had to wait forever to get the check.

The food itself was decent, but nothing remarkable. The special was a 32-ounce lobster tail priced at $220, but my husband decided on a 28-ounce tail from the menu. We were never informed that the 28-ounce was unavailable, so we ended up being served and charged for the 32-ounce instead. The filet mignon was average, though complemented nicely by a delicious red wine reduction sauce. Hanks--in our opinion--is the best steakhouse in the Las Vegas Valley. The food is always high quality and cooked perfectly. We feel like we get great value for the price. What sets Hanks apart is the service and attention they give you. When we went, there was a party of 50 people in the back room, and another table of 14 people. Yet we received personalize service, especially from Grace--the new addition to Team Claudio and Bo. She kept our water glasses full and the table organized. We appreciated her attention. We will, of course, be back soon.

For the first time in our 28 years of marriage, my wife and I returned to a restaurant as our experience in 2023 at Hanks had been outstanding (see prior review). This year however we had almost the exact opposite experience. We knew going on a Saturday night would be loud, but we were not prepared for the level it was. We were seated in the dining room in the booth closest to the bar and their live entertainment.
