"Absolutely the worst place to eat now !!!! I was very disgusted by the quality of food 4/20/23. Sweet lady however the husband is a jerk and a half not only was I over charged for the meal but the husband feels entitled to over charge as compensation for a tip. This is the fourth time I’ve had to deal with this man and since I don’t speak Chinese hes always mumbling something in Chinese. Not sure if it’s good either , he gives me the food and when I open it it’s all full of extra grease and darker than it should be on the fried chicken, this was a nightmare and will be the las time I visit this place. Not only am I Clifton native and had eaten here before growing up with the old owners who sold the place to these new owners and wow seriously has to be the worst experience I’ve had in a while. I will never ever eat here ever , the taste was horrible, I’m still disgusted. I advise everyone to please reconsider this place, just awful man and poor lady listens too the husband and made my food worse and probably on purpose. Watch out for the husband he’s a sick head and yells at you if you don’t tip when a tip is optional in most cases. Customer should tip what he feels now be demanded for more money outside my house, unprofessional service and poor service overall. This place is a nightmare . Stay away !!!!"

This is an incredible family-owned restaurant! I absolutely love their food; everything tastes fantastic!

I thought this was going to be standard Chinese food but when it took 15 minutes I realized they were cooking the food instead of reheating frozen food. It was delicious.

Mostly good. I like the scallion pancakes and egg drop soup. Egg rolls are ok. The seafood soup is pretty good. Could use more shrimp. Also had the fried dumplings. I like them crispier. View menu

The food is incredible! Even though they close at 10, they kindly waited an extra 30 minutes for me to arrive from Elizabeth. The staff is very welcoming, and I've been coming here for years.

Been here a few times and their food is as expected. The rice compared to other Chinese restaurants can be more bright yellowish but it's still good. Their homemade ice tea is very tasty as well as their homemade sugar donuts.

Exceptional food and wonderful staff! I've been ordering from this place for years, and I can honestly say I've never encountered better Chinese cuisine. If you have the chance to try it, I highly recommend you do. The prices are fantastic for the delicious meals you receive! View menu

Horrible food. Sesame chicken is loaded with flour. Sautéed broccoli has a bitter taste. Low menu is bland and no taste. Overall food quality is old. We spend $50 for food to go to garbage. Don’t buy good here. Go to Hunan in Clifton, NJ. It’s closed on Monday unfortunately. I tried to give this Chinese place opportunity but they are selling old food.

I have been coming here for 20+ years, and for many years considered this to be among the best Chinese takeout places to visit. I always got good value for my orders. However, since the pandemic, the prices have skyrocketed, and sadly the quality of service as well. It took a long time after the mask mandate to be lifted for them to start letting people in without a mask, and they have just become more impersonable with their service. It's now just a cheerless transaction, which is sad. I used to come here often, but now my visits will be less and less frequent.

"Update 11/19/22: So far I’ve had the Dolma 3 times and sadly I won’t ever be ordering it again. First time, I really enjoyed it. It was nice and tangy and had good flavor. Second time, it was definitely a different recipe, and did not taste as good as the first time but it was edible. This most recent order was again a different recipe, did not have the same flavor as the first two times, was a lot more spicy and had some other spices in it that weren’t in jt before and the dealbreaker for us was that all of our stuffed onions were so burnt that we could not eat them and threw them out. They were burnt through to the middle, not just the outside. The grape leaves were all mushy and just hard to eat, there were no peppers, and they gave us such a small portion for $14.99. This time there was bread which I appreciated, however, the bread was raw around the edges and so we just ended up throwing that out as well. Why are you serving burnt dolma? If you see that it’s burnt, you don’t serve it! If you want returning customers you don’t cheat people out of their money. We ordered Dolma for takeout. And the mint yogurt drink. The dolma is very good and nice and tangy as Iraqi Dolma should be. I don’t like that they placed the dolma on a bed of shredded lettuce. I don’t get that. No one wants to eat soggy lettuce. Would have been better with bread underneath or just plain with nothing. Also it’s a total waste of lettuce because no one eats it. The yogurt drink was also good but unfortunately it was warm. Would have liked it better if it was ice cold. That being said, I’m happy about there being an Iraqi restaurant in the neighborhood and I look forward to going there to try out more delicious Iraqi food."
