"This restaurant is a smallish place with an old tavern feel, serving a mix of American and Indian cuisine. Next time I'll have to try the curry, but this time I got the friend chicken over collard greens and mashed potatoes.The chicken was very well-made, with a nice crispy batter and juicy chicken. The collard greens were absolutely delicious and tasted almost like they were caramelized. Finally we got funnel cake topped with pears for dessert (since pears were in season at the time), and it was quite a creative dessert that was absolutely delicious.I definitely plan to go back here again, especially given how nice the staff were, always checking up on us and telling us about the motivation behind their newer menu additions."

An unexpected great find in what seems to be the middle of nowhere. With great vegetarian options to boot. Friendly staff, awesome bartender, and hardworking owners who are giving it their all to keep customers coming back. Loved it.

I can't say enough good things about our experience at the hoot owl. We ordered a bunch of small plates and 2 entrées, and split the rice pudding, which was amazing. Each dish perfectly cooked, delicious, presented and served expeditiously, and priced just right. The host and servers were attentive, responsive, kind, and welcoming. Highly recommended! View menu

we ate here for the first time last night. the food was excellent. I didn't get a photo of the kartoffel croquettes we ordered because we ate them too fast. we had the spicy blue crabs spaghetti, the chicken curry and the baby backs ripen. it was busy when we arrived, but we waited and it was good to wait. we met the owners who are very friendly. the bartender rosie was very good and friendly. this was definitiw some of the best local foods we had and it really is worth going there for a meal. they will not be disappointed with eating or service. very recommended and we will certainly be back.

Our party of 12 had a wonderful experience at hoot owl. We were able to preorder our appetizers with help from the owner on quantities; and were served shortly after being seated. Highly recommended brussel sprouts, fried artichoke hearts, halumi and burrata! We also enjoyed the wings, samosa's and lamb meatballs.All of our entries were beautifully plated, hot and delicious. The dessert, they knocked out of the park!! Cloud rice pudding, smores pie and rose water ice cream were fan favorites!A great cocktail list and craft beers were also enjoyed by all! Huge thanks to the owner Arif and of course our server Kim, who was on point, sweet kind and attentive!
