Server was very busy and it took awhile for us to get drinks and coffee.

Brunch with my sisters! Good food, good value. Love that the have brunch during the week!

The food was mediocre and it took more than an hour to be served, despite ordering eggs and pancakes which are usually quick to make. The waiter neglected our table, forcing us to seek their attention ourselves. View menu

There was an issue in the kitchen that caused a delay in our service, as the staff informed us that the oven was not working properly. However, before that, we were left unattended for at least 15 minutes before any staff came by to check on us or take our order.

This was a nice brunch spot, but I felt the food could've been a bit more creative for the price. I.E. the scrambled eggs were comes hard to the point where the consistency wad compromised. The omelet was a bit overdone as well. Nevertheless, it was tasty and we were satisfied (the cheesy potato casserole made up for the eggs). The ambiance was good, it was homey and comfortable. Our server was spot on and kept checking on us, and bringing what we needed.

I went to brunch here with a few friends. The service was not good. We placed our order before the restaurant became crowded, but it took 45 minutes to get our food. It was clear that the waiter forgot to put in our order since people who ordered after us received their food 10-15 minutes before us. Once the food arrived, it was disappointing. The fried eggs were so over-cooked they were rubbery and not edible. We requested new eggs but they were only a minor improvement. I would not suggest coming here. View menu

I have been to the Hutch in wrigleyville and loved it but this experience here was not good. I had a reservation for 7 people at 12pm and when we arrived were told that open table overbooked them and it was going to be a while. We ended up waiting for over an hour for a table. The first table that was given to us was a table so small it would've only fit about 4 people and they tried to cram us into that table. Once we said we weren't going to sit there, we got a bigger table. We didn't have anyone come to even take our drink orders for at least 25 mins after being sat down. Overall disappointed and probably wont come back to this location.

Great Friday Brunch!! My wife and I were staying in the Loop/Theatre district, and wanted to find a brunch place on a Friday. Hutch American Cafe! It was an easy mile walk from our hotel, and well worth the late morning stroll. We were greated warmly when we arrived, and seated right away. We each had the spicy sunset cocktail, a great variation on a tequila sunrise, and a perfect start to our dining experience! We had the breakfast wrap and the pulled bacon benedict! Both were delicious!! The chorizo in the wrap is perfect spice and flavor! The pulled bacon is pulled pork with burnt ends and tons of flavor. The hollandaise sauce was great and poached eggs on top, perfect!! The potato casser...

My experience at Hutch was absolutely awful. They made us wait 20 minutes past our reservation before seating us, and then it took another 15 minutes for a server to come to our table. When he finally arrived, he admitted he didn't know he was supposed to be our server. After giving us two free appetizers to make up for the wait, we placed our drink order, but it took another 30 minutes for the drinks to arrive. When our food finally came 30 minutes after that, it was cold, unappetizing, and all around disappointing. I used to enjoy going to Hutch, but after this experience, I have no intention of returning.
