"Excellent Thai food, good price, very friendly staff. I stopped here for lunch on a Monday with my family. We had the place to ourselves and the staff were very friendly. They are a husband and wife from Thailand, they appear to be the only staff (though maybe they have helpers on weekends, I don't know) the wife took our order and also cooked the food. As a result, the wait was longer than at most restaurants. Luckily for us, they have an interesting set of decorations which kept the kids' attention occupied while we waited. "Visited this awesome diner as we were in town for my daughters Lacrosse tournament... place was full and well staffed! Sat at the counter and had coffee and menu with a smile quickly! Would recommend the biscuits and gravy with the smothered hash browns!!! Also got some great muffins to go!!!"

"when we drove through goldsboro, we decided to take a quick bite to eat in the city. we originally wanted to stop in the Thai garden, but they were closed for repairs. with my handy dandy yelp app I was looking for another great lunch option, we landed on brisas! I will say we were in a little hurry, but that was not a problem for the server. we sat right away and she took our commands quite right there and then. my man and his friend ordered the crushed pork lunch plate (I'm not sure the name) and I ordered the ropa vieja (shrinked bark with twirl and paprika). both dishes came with a mixed green salad, rice and a curtain. everything was phenomenal! we are so glad that we have happened on this place, as it was perfect!"

"We placed a takeout order for filet mignon and a shrimp skewer for my wife. I requested a baked potato, but received a sweet potato that was mushy and inedible—it ended up in the trash. The filet mignon was decent, but the salad was old and stale, which made me feel unwell. Given the prices they charge, I wouldn't recommend this place for such subpar food. The shrimp, however, was good, and my wife enjoyed it. The dessert seemed like it was pre-packaged from Harris Teeter, and I didn't even try mine because of how the salad affected me. Instead, I'd recommend Logan's Steakhouse. They offer great food at reasonable prices, and the service is consistently good whenever we visit. Plus, the atmosphere at Logan's is much better, with a spacious setting that doesn't require reservations."
