"1. Why should you trust my review? Because I’m Indian and I know what authentic Indian food should taste like. 2. The food was average at best. 3. Pricing: This restaurant seems designed to take advantage of customers. I’ve never understood why Indian restaurants are so expensive compared to other cuisines, like Cuban food, but this place really takes the cake. I've never paid so much for a single meal in my life. In my opinion, the food might be slightly better than some other Indian restaurants (which are truly awful), but it certainly doesn't justify the high prices. They even had the audacity to charge gratuity for a party of three and then ask for an additional tip. Dining here would only support their questionable practices."

Only the appetizers are worth a mention. The food is quite expensive and the quantity is not adequate. Veg Dishes are between $13.95 $16.95; Non-Veg Dishes are between $15.95 19.95. Food was just alright... no big deal.

Food is mediocre at best. It all tastes the same. By the way the service is horrible. They don't honor reservations. We waited 45 minutes after our reserved time and people who arrived after were seated first. Not even an apology was offered. I'll never dine there again.

I ordered Paneer, but to my surprise, I found some extra hair mixed in with my food. When I brought this to the manager's attention, instead of apologizing for the mistake, he insisted that it never happens in his kitchen. It felt as though he was blaming me for the situation.

We went there this past week and it made us all really sick; my brother and mother were vomiting and having diarrhea all night and couldn't move at all through the next two days. Have had take out several times from Imlee and the food is amazing. Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken maknee (wrong spelling) is amazing. You can order the spice to your taste. The garlic nan was fantastic. The place is small and the portions are not huge but the food quality is top notch. I have had Indian Food from London to Goa and I can honestly say the food here is as good as any I’ve had anywhere. The chicken Tikka melts in your mouth. Try Imlee...the service is not the friendliest but not much in Miami is...get take out and open a Riesling or Shiraz with your tandori and you can't go wrong. The owners are very pleasant and usually on premise.

I ate at this restaurant last week and got food poisoning. I was sick for 2 days with severe pain and diarrhea. My credit card was also charged for more than the cost of the meal and tip which I signed for. When I called the restaurant I was given a run around for several days. I eventually heard from the manager after threatening to call the department of health and to file a fraud report with my credit card bank. He eventually credited back the extra charges and showed no remorse for the food poisoning from eating their food. I will be filing an official report with the department of health as well as a fraud report with my credit card company. Very poor customer service!
