"Not our first visit on Saturday 6/29. This is my inlaws favorite restaurant and they go here often each month. Saturday was a very unusually cold and rainy day for late June but the staff felt it was still best to keep the AC set at 62 degrees. (we could see the temp setting on the unit, this was not a guess) We were unfortunately sat directly across from the wall unit that blasted us with cold air the entire time. We were already cold and wet from outside and we just got colder. When we asked if they could turn the temp up a little so it wasn't as cold we were told no for the comfort of the wait staff. I'd like to tell you I enjoyed my meal but I was too cold to enjoy it. We did try and ask to move to another table but they were so busy they kept seating other tables even though we asked to be moved. A little disappointed in this. I suppose if we are brought there again I will bring a heavy jacket or blanket. I will not go there by choice. Maybe take out!"

Large portions of delicious seafood are the trademark of this cozy restaurant along route 16. We stopped for a late lunch and found great, friendly service. Highly recommend you give them a try.

Finally got to try Jake's . The food did not disappoint. The service was phenomenal. My 2 year old grandson was the talk of the place while we were there. The only bad thing I have to say is I wish they were open during the winter. Will definitely be back soon .
